God wants you to stay the course, keep your eyes on Him and surround yourself with good, solid, positive people. Negativity is contagious so be leery of anyone who only chooses to look at what is wrong with their life, only says what is wrong with others. People that only look at the bad in everything is not good for any of our spiritual walks. If someone does not see God's vision for my life I cannot be around them. It doesn't mean that we should bury our heads in the sand but God wants us to uplift each other....encourage one another. Believe in each other as God believes in us. Next time you are in some one's presence and they begin to be down or negative, counter their response with a positive affirmation. Empower and strengthen them, do not enable them. People sometimes like to wallow in their "sickness" and we find ourselves going along with it thinking we are helping them. But it is hurting them. So be the light of Christ for someone you know that is like that. Show them the way to be. Demonstrate to them the peace, love and joy they can find in Christ and in life. Remember as I said before, you may be the only "bible" they ever read. Amen?!
