God answers prayers. In His time and in His perfect way. Yesterday was a hard day for me. We all experience them but it is God who I leaned on to get me through. I honestly do not know what people do in their times of trouble when they do not turn to the Lord. If we did not have the faith we have in the Lord knowing that He will work all things out for my husband and I, I don't know where we would be. I believe we would be disheartened, discouraged and disappointed. But because Christ Jesus is King and He is the maker of everything, I can stand tall, proud and with assurance knowing that He has everything under His control. What a blessing that is and what comfort for us in times of trials and tribulations. I love the story of Peter and Jesus on the water. When Peter begins to look around at his surroundings and begins to panic amidst the storm. Because he took his eyes off of Jesus he began to sink. But when he re focused all His attention and kept his eyes of faith on Jesus, he did not drown. Don't look around at your current situation. Don't panic like Peter did because of the overwhelming waves. Just keep the faith! God is with you. God is with me. God will take us through our storm and bring us to calmer seas. Just like He did with Peter. He is with us all the way. Amen!
