I want to first wish my angel in heaven , Carole , a blessed birthday today. She passed away too early and I miss her everyday but I know she is with Jesus. I think of her whenever I see Creflo Dollar. He was her favorite. But I think it is natural to miss your loved ones at the holidays. This is such an emotional weekend with Jesus being honored in a parade one day and in less than a week He was crucified and murdered in a tortuous death where people gathered to watch. But we know the tomb is empty and He resurrected on the 3rd day and Jesus is alive!! He died for all man's sins so we can rejoice in His act of unconditional love. To know someone loved us that much to give up their own life for us....I cannot imagine not wanting to love and honor Him all the rest of my earthly days. So on this Holy weekend, love, laugh, and enjoy your loved ones as you celebrate together. But remember to keep Him in the center for the Lord died for you so you can have eternal life. Teach your kids the reason for his season is not Easter bunnies and candy and egg hunts but of a Savior in the person of Jesus Christ.
