Today we celebrate my Mom's 85th birthday. I am not only blessed that I grew up with a very special woman as my Mother but to have her still with me today to honor ..... priceless! So today I thank the good Lord for all His gifts. So many people come from broken homes, divorce, estrangement from one or both of their parents and I have to say although my family was far from perfect, my childhood and blessings for being a part of a solid whole family is something I am truly grateful for. What are you grateful for today? I tell you it is so good for your soul and mental well being to sit and reflect on all the gifts you have received and then reflect and honor the Giver. Many of us get stuck in the negatives of life and we don't stop to cherish all we do have. So I encourage you today to not think of all that is wrong with your life or all that has to get done in your life. But instead, STOP and REFLECT, on all that is right with you and all that God has blessed you with. The rest will all come together as you trust and believe in the Lord. For now, He wants you to simply rest in Him and be grateful and at peace. Be blessed!
