Be a blessing to someone today. Think of someone other than yourself today. There are so many people that are in need of help in so many ways. You can ask the Lord to lead you to someone today that needs a word or lending hand. Love God and love others as He loves you. I never knew how deep of a vow that was as a Christian person. That although we should take care of ourselves, it is just as important to be selfless and loving to others. I have witnessed a couple for years although very strong in their faith be the opposite in this task. I always watched their actions and their reasoning's be only for themselves and their children. As if no one else mattered. That any predicament you were in was caused by you and therefore your own irresponsibility was your despise and because you did not use wisdom, we are not led to help you. Can you imagine? Judging someone and then not reaching out a helping hand. It has always made me feel so sad. As I grow In Christ, I see and understand so clearly now how NOT to be. Do you know how many people I have fed or written a check to because I could, not after I dissected their problem first to determine nothing was their fault? If we only help the perfect human being who just happened to fall unto hard times and not the person who really needs us and our love and the love of God then what would be the point? Heaven would not be full I can tell you that. We are to be living testimonies in that when we help others in their time of need, we can help lead them to Christ. I watch my husband do this with strangers everyday. Just sit with them in the park and pray with them and invite them to church and to my blog. Every single day he witnesses to someone. He gets it. I am starting to and so can you. So make it a point on this Thursday to have this day be about someone else. Ask God to lead you to someone who you can bless today and I guarantee you He will.
