Count it all joy. Whatever you face today. I believe with all my heart that Jesus loves me and wants only what is best for me. That means even when I am waiting or suffering, He loves me and is there with me. He brings me blessed assurance and such comfort. I rejoice in it all. Life was never promised to be easier if I gave it to God. My husband and I pray for those that have back slidden and have chosen to live their own life because with God it wasn't what they thought it would be. They thought God was going to instantly bless them and make their lives easy and breezy and it simply is not the case. For those I have watched stray, I love them. I pray for them and then I continue to live my life. It was the best advice I was ever given and I pass it on to you. Living your life is the greatest testimony you can give someone that has fallen from their walk. If you simply live for God, your life will display better than what your words can. So for those of you who have a backslidden spouse, parent, sibling, child, friend.....love them, pray for them, be there for them when they need you. Help be the one that glorifies God and leads them back to the truth. Amen?!
