Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful Mom, Bianca, who is 85 years young and still fabulous. She has been the source of my strength my whole life and instilled in me the love of Jesus from the time I was small. My Mom has always been Catholic and would never try any other church and she insisted we be raised the same way. My Mom always was saying the rosary or novena and The Pink Sisters were her life line. I remember when I was young and we were on our way to either Disney World or Disney Land and we were at a rest stop so we could all stretch our legs. 5 people in a station wagon with wood paneling. I was running down a steep cement hill and twisted my ankle bad at the bottom of the hill. My Dad had to carry me to the car and the pain was intense. I was so upset I would be unable to do anything in the parks. Can you imagine a 10 year old little girl unable to run and enjoy the rides because of a swollen ankle? I remember it like it was yesterday. My Mom came to me and taught me to pray for myself a 9 hour novena and she told me to ask the Lord to heal my ankle so I would be able to enjoy the rest of our vacation. We only were 2 days away from our destination and she knew I needed a miracle in order for me to be able to even walk in a few short days. They propped my leg up in the bed that night and I laid there and prayed earnestly and humbly. I believed! By the next morning the swelling was completely gone and there was no pain at all and I was able to walk. I was healed! And on that precious summer day I believed in Jesus and His promises and I knew He was real! So thanks Mom for helping me along the way while I was young and to my big sister who led me to the Lord as an adult and helped me understand the power of my salvation and water baptism. I am grateful for every lesson. No titles, no divisions, just thank you's to both of you! xoxo
