When we come to the Lord we are to love the Giver, not the gift. Where did anyone get the impression that finding God means easy street,100% answered prayers, and lots of goodies along the way? I am very close with someone who has stopped going to church because she never found a man nor got married and had children. She declared to me that God doesn't answer her prayers therefore she doesn't bother to pray anymore. I have heard another say that someone they were close to had so much faith God would save their apartment and he ended up homeless and living on some one's sofa. Therefore they posed the question to me where did his faith get him? Although I sympathize with these stories I also quickly am going to defend God for man makes mistakes and gets in to their own way. When your heart is right with God and you are right with God, He will provide. The girl never got her heart's desire because she wanted a man, not a relationship with God. She turned to God for a man and when He didn't provide, she dropped Him. If she had taken the time to deepen her faith she would have realized that the Lord is a jealous and loving God and although He wants to grant us our heart's desires, He would never give us something or someone that would ultimately take His place. So it appeared as though He never answered Her prayer but in reality He would have had her heart been right. As for the man who lost his home, was he tithing seeds into the kingdom of glory? Tithing will seal you up and save you every time. I believe God showed mercy and he found someone to take him in but to not have been further blessed may have been his own reaping and sowing or lack thereof. Understand I am not here to judge these people, I am simply posing the question as to why the Lord gets the bad rap when man is the one that gets in the way. So next time you are feeling frustrated by something you are asking of God, make sure your heart is right, your relationship with Him is right and the thing you want falls within His will of things. For Psalm 37:45 tells me that when we delight ourselves in Him, He will grant our heart's desires. And that is all I need to know. Have a blessed day!
Romans 10:9 tells us.... If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

I am often reminded of how my life was before God. Colorless, bland, sad, hard, cold, lonely at times, combative, and difficult. And now? My life with the Lord is effortless, peaceful, simple, easy, full of life, exciting, and very rewarding. He is the only way to true happiness. Consistent, true happiness. Not a temporary fix to a permanent problem. He is omnipotent and a sovereign God to whom I call my Father. He is all I need and He is all you will ever desire. Trust Him today if you never have and I promise you He will surpass anything you could ever need or imagine. My life is technicolor, 3D in HDTV vision and my life could not be brighter. And yours will be too.

You don't have to jump through hoops to please God. All He wants from us is to believe in Him and believe He can do all things. Simply believe in Him , love your neighbor as yourself, and obey in what the Lord commands. It is an easy as ABC.

Jesus saves lives. Yesterday in our morning service there were so many people raising their hands that accepted Jesus into their hearts and lives. PB made it very clear and simple that we are all named in the Book of Life but only those that are saved (accepting the Lord as your Savior and committing your life to Him and asking Him into your heart) are written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Only those names that are written in the Lamb's Book of Life enter into the Kingdom of Glory eternally. If your name is not written in the Lamb's Book of Life you are thrown into the lake of fire and you will live a life of sorrow and regret. Now I don't know about you but for me and my family, we believe that Jesus died on the cross to bare our sins and He took the weight of the world onto Himself so that we would not perish but have everlasting life. I know with blessed assurance that when the Lord calls me Home, my name is in the Book and I will live eternally with Him. If you aren't certain about where you will spend your eternal life I urge you to say this prayer with me and when you do Jesus will come in to your heart and you will be saved and live forever with Him. You then need to find a solid bible teaching church (GCCC is a phenomenal church and you can read more at :gcccpray.com) and get in to a solid bible teaching class.
Sinner's Prayer:
"Lord, I admit that I am a sinner and I can't do this without you anymore. I believe that you sent your only Son to die for me and take on my sins so that I may live forever in heaven with you. I ask that You come in to my heart and be Lord of my life. I surrender my will to You and commit to Your ways. "

As I was doing my morning devotions and talking with God I reflected on the past years and I began to see where and when my wall of spiritual protection began to crumble. Then I thought about all the warnings we hear of sun protection and sexual protection yet no one talks about spiritual protection. And it is not a crucifix over your bed or a cross around your neck. It is much more than that. Faith in the Lord and confessing Him as your Lord and Saviour builds this wall and our obedience to Him keeps this wall steady and sturdy. But when we begin to allow the smallest of sins seep in to our lives this wall can and will slowly break down. When we disobey the Lord and stray from Him we are no longer walking with God because our sin is separating us. And our sin causes our "wall" to crumble. It is only when we ask the Lord for our forgiveness and repent our sins to Him that we will feel His presence and know that He is protecting us and our wall will once again erect. If you examine your life as it is now and there are areas that are not going well look and it has been persisting, than you may need to look into what is in your life that you need to get rid of. There may be something you are doing that is not of God, someone you are dating that is not of God, something you are harboring in your heart that is not of God and these things could be hindering you and this feeling of "nothing is going right" may be the remnants of a broken down wall of protection. So I urge you to self examine yourself today and ask the Lord to show you what area of your life He may want you to let go of. I promise you once you do this and walk back in favor of God, you will feel a change. This will be the Lord drawing you back to Him. He did it for me and He will surely do it for you.

We will all face many difficult times in our lives. I would like to meet any adult that can attest to me that they have led a perfect and joyous life all of their days up until now. It just is not a factual statement. Not for anyone. I know as a believer we are to draw from our faith and strength and draw near to God more than anyone else during these trying times. But it isn't only then that we are to be close to God. He is not our Mr. Fix it and Forget It. Try that relationship with Him and see how long that lasts. He needs to be a consistent presence in our lives . When daily prayer and devotions are a part of you and your life and scripture becomes familiar, it will arm you during your trials. You can use what you have learned and apply it. The bible is the most consistent book there is and it is our instructional guide from the Lord so He wants us to use His words, meditate on them and apply them. Don't fight the process. Trials will come whether you want them to or not. Imagine when you draw onto God through your trials, He takes those breaths and sighs with you. We have to allow God to use our challenges in our lives to be an opportunity to draw on His strength and help us through the fire that will refine us. That is the definition of "sanctification". So I challenge you today to be prepared for your next valley and look at it as a promise not a problem.

God's got this! I know it. Whenever I begin to feel scared about something, I turn to God and He comforts me. I know He protects me from this world we live in. People always wanting to devour you and destroy you. I thank Him for the hedge of protection he provides over my family and this home. Protect your loved ones and yourself through prayer. It is key, it is vital, it is the only way. God knows the very thing we need and His timing is never late or too early but perfect and I claim it for my life and those I love. Just stay the course, trust God and don't give up. I know how hard things can get and how bleak the outlook may appear. My faith tells me that no matter what my natural eyes see, my spiritual eyes tell a very different story. This is what separates us from the conventional thinkers. This is when we are appearing as though we are "irresponsible" or "quacks" or "holy rollers" . I stand on the promise the Lord has made when He spoke, "Be still and know that I am God."

Forgive one another. Let the past be the past and love one another. Division is not of God, it is of the evil one. When we allow our flesh to control our relationships and feed into anger, resentment, and holding grudges we fail at our witnessing for God. People hold believers in a higher standard. Fact. They watch to see you stumble so they can hold on to their lives instead of following God. When we are caught up in these troubles, it does not exemplify God in any way. God is love. God is mercy. God is forgiving. We must be like God, right? Then where does the confusion lie? When our emotions get involved and God is not about feelings. That is your tell. I know it is hard when you just want to stay mad or you are uncomfortable with confrontations but when you look at it from the perspective that God chose you to lead others to Him and wants you to display His way than none of us have a choice. Think of it this way...let's say you are having a spat with someone at work and you are choosing to ignore the other or choosing to stay away from the very "topic" that caused the rift, than you are not bearing a good witness to others that may not be a believer. And if they know you are a child of God, than you better believe they are watching every minute to see how you handle yourself during this difficult time. That is the trap of satan. He wants you to fail at this mission. He wants division, discord and conflict. Being a Christian is not about being comfortable as a matter of fact God will put you in a very uncomfortable position to test you for a wonderful testimony. Bear good fruit where ever you are. " Blessed are the peacemakers".

I have found through this year long journey that Jesus not only taught me how to trust Him on a deeper level but that through true obedience comes His power. My life is so simple and uncomplicated now. No more hustle and bustle and running myself ragged. Peace, tranquility and simplicity are how I would describe our life now. God turns off the lights of doubt, the pangs of fear and the shadows of the unknown. When you dwell in His presence and turn to Him completely, He comforts you in a way no other could ever. I truly believe in my heart than when we experience the valleys that the Lord wants to use them in some way for someone else. I am very open and honest about my life and the vast change it has taken in the last 12 months. I love to share my faith and my trust and my love for God through these passages because He has done amazing things for me and He wants to for you too. I have learned that in order for us to fully receive His power we must surrender truly and completely. I call it the "nestea plunge" where you fold your arms and close your eyes and fall back into some one's arms without hesitation or reservation. When you submit yourself to Him and walk away from what you know, you will experience the miraculous ways of Him. I know what it is like to hold on to something, to keep control, to rationalize why we have to do what we are doing. Basically we justify why we give God this much but hold on to the rest. We all have our "thing" that God wants us to let go of. Just be alone with Him and ask Him to reveal what it is He wants from you. And when He speaks it, listen and obey. I hold you in my prayers and know that if you reading this right now, that He is already moving in your life. Let go and trust Him.

Focus on God's promises instead of your problems. When you do this, your faith will take you to new levels of victory. Be steadfast in your passion for Him. Really read the promise He has made to us in Romans 8:28. For if we did this, than how could we ever worry about something again? Why would we get ourselves worked up in fear and despair if we truly knew that the Lord promises to work ALL things out for our good? What a powerful promise and as for me, I believe. I lay my burdens at His feet and I ask for my eyes to be open to see His works. I pray that my ears be open so I can hear His voice and I ask that my heart be available so I can fill it with His love and joy. Whatever it is you are going through today, God is with you. Whatever unknowns are in your life, He is already at tomorrow working it all out. Nothing that is happening to you is of any surprise to God. He may be trying to get your attention. He may be preparing you for something. Strengthening you for someone. He wants us to love Him, trust Him and seek Him and He wants you to stop trying to figure everything out. It is distracting you from Him. He just wants you completely and fully focused on Him so today be still and simply trust.

God uses our trials as opportunities to strengthen us and deepen our faith. I keep hearing the Lord say to me "faith" and faith is trusting in Him no matter what the circumstances look like or how bleak something may appear. Blind faith to what we cannot see. Full surrendering faith to the One. Trusting Him and not leaning on our own mind to analyze or problem solve. When man tries to be self sufficient he leaves no room for God. God wants us totally relying on Him and not ourselves. In His will, we are blessed with peace. So put all your trust and faith in the Lord our God for He will provide, protect and prevail. Be blessed and for those off on summer break...enjoy every moment.

Happy Father's Day to my Daddy. I know Dad you are safe and sound and happy as a clam rejoicing with all the angels with the King of Glory. I know you are in a better place than I could ever be here on earth but I still miss you. I am so grateful the Lord appointed you to be my Dad. You always called me Cynthie and it was special to me. I love all that you were to me and all the blessings you gave us as a family. You provided us with a house to live in, meals on the table and summer vacations that could never ever be forgotten with my 2 best friends, Lisa and Kenneth. I am blessed to be closer to them today than ever before. We bonded over the years and I cherish our family memories. Thanks for always watching over Mommy for I know you are her angel in heaven. We all love you and we all miss you and we all send you today a Happy Father's Day special shout out. Give Jesus a kiss for me!

The enemy will use anyone to get to you. Even loved ones and those closest to you. He doesn't care....he is alive and lives to destroy us. Scary thought? Yes. Real? You better believe it. If you believe in heaven, you certainly believe in hell. There are angels fighting for you and demons fighting against you. The Lord our God is everlasting and true and so is satan. Spiritual warfare is the term for them fighting over you. Light vs. darkness. Goodness vs. evil. I see so many relationships and friendships destroyed by the evil one and so many people fall for his pathetic actions. We must arm ourselves, our loved ones and our home against these vicious attacks which will come. The closer we get to God, the angrier it becomes. But don't be afraid. Don't give in. You hold the power. The Holy Spirit dwells within you. The Lord God is for you therefore nothing nor noone could be against you. Submit yourself to God first and He will give you the power to rebuke all his evilness and it must flee in the name of Jesus. Keep yourself spiritually armed at all times and in all things pray, praise and believe. And remember He who lives in you is greater than he who lives in the world.

When we walk through the valley of the unknown, we will find the footprints of Jesus both in front of us and beside us. I keep that promise on my office desk and it encourages me and comforts me. I like to have inspirational things surrounding me. Even at the pool area I have garden stones inscribed with scriptures in the flower beds and my flower pots have little signs in them. I can swim and meditate and come up and see FAITH BELIEVE HOPE staring back at me. They keep me motivated and they remind me of God's faithfulness. It is important to surround ourselves with God's word. Whether it be praise and worship music in the car, a small bible in your purse, a book of scriptures on your coffee table, wall hangings with scripture (I have scriptural pieces in every room of my house), the open bible front and center in your house, and for me I like to also keep plaques and signs and postcards all reminding me how much God loves me and how much I can trust Him. I can be praying and talking with God in any room and look up and see His words looking back at me. They also serve as powerful testimonies for all who enter my home, whether it be a friend or repair man. So you should survey your office and survey your home. Does your space reflect your faith? Your beliefs? Does it reflect the power of God in anyway? Proclaim your faith today. It will be good for your soul and it will bear a powerful witness for God. Amen!

Be of good encouragement. There are enough complainers and naysayers in the world. Too often people with hold a nice gesture or compliment because of their own jealousies or insecurities and it is sad to me. It can make someone feel so good about themselves and we can show God's love so easily with a nice act. You may be scriptural sound and very familiar with the bible and the stories but if you do not act on your faith, what is it all for? Why attend church and gain all this knowledge on Sunday and not share it on Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday or Friday or Saturday. For some even on Sunday they do not show compassion to others. If you see a stranger crying next to you, console them. Place your hand on their shoulder, reach out to one another. Pray for one another. My husband is so good when we stop to talk with friends after church and they will ask us to pray for something and he always says, "Let's pray together right now" and where ever we are, we form a circle and pray. I watched him the other day stop and pray with a young man. He exemplifies God in every way. I watch the spiritual transformation in his life and it is powerful to watch for me and powerful for him to experience. He is so in love with God and so grateful that he wants to share God's love with everyone. His fervor for God and love for others teaches me everyday how to be. Love. It is that simple. Give someone a hug today. Call someone who is lonely today. Invite someone to lunch or to your house for coffee. Be bold with one another. The angels exalt in heaven when we share with one another. Move heavens, move earth, make changes.....

Is there anyone in your life that you need to let go of and hand over to God? I believe in harmony and peace but I also believe that we are to guard our hearts. Forgiving someone is vital to our spiritual health and mindset but I also believe God does not want us to be any one's doormat. Whether you are ostracized over your faith or life choices or over a disagreement, the Lord wants us to guard our hearts and our words. Have you ever been falsely accused of something or had someone talk about you to someone else and it not being true? What would God instruct us to do? How would He want us to react? How would He handle it? As a believer, we need to pray for all things because the Lord despises discord and distention and He will guide us in the way we should go for these dark things are not of Him. I have had some disagreements with people and for me, I chose peace and forgiveness. Whether it was me asking for forgiveness or me receiving their apology and forgiving them in my heart. However God doesn't expect you to have to keep these people in your life. Some you just know in your heart you want to reconcile AND continue a relationship with and that is the greatest blessing of all. While others are best to be kept at an arm's distance. However we MUST reconcile ourselves with all of them in order to preserve our testimony for God. I have experienced the closer I get to God, the more I depend on Him rather than man. Not everyone is meant to be in your life forever. Some friendships and relationships are meant to last for a day, week, month, year, decade or even longer. Just always pray for the Lord to teach you to love, forgive and to have compassion for everyone that comes in to your life. Amen?!

Strive to be humble. The bible makes several references on humility vs. pride. I personally am so turned off by people who brag and always are quick to share their good news with meu yet seem real mum when they are experiencing hardship. I think we learn more from each other's valleys than the peaks. It is refreshing to hear someone share their story with me. I want to know how you came to be where you are, not just know the result. I can see where you are presently. Share your spiritual journey with me. If you struggle with this issue than ask that the Lord help you. Pride can make many a man fall and fall hard. I have learned over the years that when someone feels the need to always tell me how great they are I see now it is really a mask for insecurity. A void. God can fill that void and take away your feelings of unworthiness. The more you profess to me how grand life is, the more you reveal your hurt to me. Be real and open. It is the only way we will fellowship truly with one another in an authentic Christian way. I love my Christian sisters. I am blessed to have good solid "sisters" with similar values and beliefs as I. It is good for me. When I share my struggles with them, I am encouraged. I am prayed for. I am loved. I am empowered by their faith. Be that for one another. Tear down your walls today. Share your stories. The Lord was the most humblest human being of all. Strive to be humble and He will guide you in justice and teach you His ways, which are mercy and truth. Amen! and Amen! Have a blessed day!

My two Sunday studies taught me (first through good old Charles Stanley) that when a Christian complains they are bored or their life is boring it is insulting to God. When we feel this way, I learned that we need to examine our vision and walk. It really is true isn't it? I mean there are so many things we can join or volunteer for that would keep us enlightened and focused on our walk. And for those that say that can't do that due to circumstances beyond their control then I say read your bible and pray to God. For that we all control. The pastor said in church today how we may believe in God but many do not know Him. We only get to know Him through prayer life, worshiping time, fellowship with others, church attendance and making time for the word of God. That is what will keep and maintain our relationship with Him. We must keep God in the center and keep Him a part of our lives. In everything we do. I believe in my heart that if all believers did that then their lives would be burning with fervor for God's love not bored from it. So if today you are feeling discontent or restless, check your spirit then catch yourself. And then run to God for He is the way, the truth and the life.

It is so nice to give thanks to the Lord. He is so good to us isn't He? I read that we truly need to understand that He is the sovereign authority over everything because it is vital to our peace. It is true. Think about when you are swimming in the ocean and you struggle to swim against the current. It keeps bringing you back in to the deep waters. Many drown because they get swept away with the waves. But when you stay calm and swim parallel to the current you easily swim away from trouble. That is how we should be when our "current" comes in the way of trouble and adversity. Instead of reacting in our panic state, we should stay calm and allow God to move us through and past the deep waters. He will save us every time. Trust Him today to handle all your worries, all your burdens and cast all your cares on Him. Allow the power of the Holy Spirit to work through your life today. Let Him be your life guard today and always.

People's wicked ways will be exposed. Their greed, their jealousy, their envy, their cheating ways....all are seen by God and known to Him. He knows our hearts, He surely knows our thoughts. It is extremely imperative that we not only guard our mouths, but we must guard our minds. It is not okay to gloat on someone else's failure. It doesn't matter what the person may have done to you. That is a hard challenge for all of us. I think it is natural and very normal to be gleeful when you know the very weapon thrown at you never prospered and in fact made a boomerang motion back to the person who aimed it for you. My family always prays that no weapon formed against us prosper. We don't add anything other to it. We simply ask for protection over us and our home. The Lord says vengeance is His and we are to know that the battle is His. Never try to retaliate against an enemy or someone who may have wronged you. Turn the other cheek and way and hand the matter/person to God. It is the only way. Your testimony for God will remain intact and in fact people will notice the grace bestowed upon you and it will speak volumes. Just let go of things that have hurt you. Forgive those that have hurt you. Give it to God and allow Him to repair, restore and renew. He can and He will.

The Lord never ceases to amaze me. He is truly amazing and such a loyal friend. I have been through a lot in the last year and so much has been revealed to me that allows me closure to my past and healing at the same time. He never stops reassuring me that as I trust Him through these changing times that all will be shown to me in His time. I see so much already but as you grow closer to Him and build a stronger relationship with Him, He will draw you closer to Him and will reveal Himself to you in so many ways. I urge you to take your bible or go to BibleGateway.com and begin your own spiritual journey with God. He will guide you through a seamless and perfect conversation as you read the stories and various books. He will take your eyes directly to scriptures that meet your needs. You can ask Him to speak to you and He will through His word.

Today I celebrate my 6Th wedding anniversary with my husband. I am humbled by His love and spirit and more in love with him today than ever before. The Lord has taken this marriage over and has remade it into a true love affair. Two years ago I would never have been able to say those words. Not me to him, nor him to me. We were existing in each other's life. We were disconnected and broken. But the Lord has reconciled our lives together and has renewed us so today I thank you Lord for truly granting me my heart's desire. To be with a Man Of God who walks the walk and talks the talk is priceless. He has rededicated his life to you and I am forever grateful for all you have done for both of us. It is a miracle and we thank you! Keep God in the center of your life. If you are married, keep Him in the center of your marriage. Just a reminder to us all that when we Put God in the center, everything comes together. My marriage is living proof.

The Lord has a sense of humor. I have been playing tug of war with him over a subject matter and it deals with me leading in an area at church. Every time I think I am back to being in the background just hanging out and coasting by, He keeps throwing me back in the limelight. I keep telling Him I am tired of leading, of thinking, of being the one "in charge". I beg Him to just let me be the second banana. But His word is final and it is funny because it is a classic example of how He will answer your prayers when it is right for you and within HIS will. On this particular subject, every time the role of leader arises and I try to fade in to the wall, HE shines the 100 watt bulb in my face for the world to see. Really Lord? Thanks....thanks so much! But my husband really believes in his heart that for years I managed adults and helped them over the years that now the Lord is calling me to help the little tots. I was told the original teacher was returning to my class room and I was asked to lead another class for the summer. I declined requesting that I stay with my class as a helper. So imagine my surprise when I walked in to find the room dark and no teacher. Low and behold, they moved several people around and decided to keep me with the class teaching because I was so attached to them and asked the original teacher if she would consider a different class. None of this was communicated to me so I just quietly said to God, "You will not let me off the hook with this. No matter how many times I tell you I rather help then lead, you put me in the position of leading." So God's yeses are yeses no matter what. So I simply say, 'Lord, use me in anyway you see fit and I thank you for this opportunity to stay with these children. What a blessing they are to me." And how can you resist a little tot telling you how silly you are and in fact she thinks I am sillier than her. I mean come on...that is heaven on earth. So tots...Miss Cindy is here to stay! God is ever faithful and His word is true.

I believe that Christians should hold themselves on a higher accountability standard. If we are to represent God and His love than we cannot be talking out of the side of our mouths. Whether it be gossiping, complaining, discouraging or criticizing. It is hurtful and we need to know that although we are all human and we all make mistakes, our number one goal should be to always exemplify God and His love. Period. He would never tolerate it nor did he ever act that way so neither should we. So guard your tongue today. Think before you speak and remind yourself that words cannot be taken back and they can be very hurtful to someone. Be kind, be sweet, be all that God is....gentle, humble, generous, selfless, and available to everyone. It is truly the only way to be.

Today is my Mom and Dad's anniversary. They have been married 63 years. Even though my Dad went to Jesus in 2005, their marriage is still recognized in my eyes and worthy to be honored. They exemplified what a marriage should be. My Dad worked to support 5 children and always provided a roof over our heads and forget me not summer vacations growing up. I was privileged enough to have a stay at home Mom and it was priceless to have her in the house when I walked in from the school bus. I adored her as a child and love her as much now as a grown woman. I miss my Dad very much but to know He is in heaven with all the angels watching over me.....I can accept that. So today I want to give thanks to the Lord for blessing me with a wonderful set of parents. Thank you for choosing them to be my Mother and Father. I learned how to be tough like my Dad and positive like my Mom. She taught me early on about Jesus and prayer meetings and raising hands up in praise. So I ask that you bless her today Lord with your presence and grace and keep her in your care today and always. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

To God be the glory. In all ways, acknowledge Him. Praise opens up heaven's gates and out pours blessings unto you. It is good to give thanks to God in everything. I had two recent scares with house hold items/appliances and the repairs alone were over $200 and I just prayed to the Lord to honor our tithes and to help fix the problem at home without having to pay someone and with some help from some angels, it was repaired in minutes. I praise God for that because He is in all areas of my life, big and small. I give Him praise for all He saves me from and all He does for us. It is just good to give thanks to the Lord. Share your victories with others. It isn't bragging, it is sharing the gospel. Especially new believers that are overwhelmed at the big stuff, show them the simplicity of God with the little things. Praise Him in all things and don't be shy...be bold! It warms God's heart and it surely will do you good too. Be blessed!

Trusting God means looking beyond what we can see to what God sees. This trust can set you free from so many cares and worries. This trust can heal the people that suffer from anxiety and depression and are paralyzed with fear because of their life's woes. God is the answer. He will take your life and remake it for you and in return all He asks is that you trust Him. He is so willing to reach out his hand to you and all He wants is for you to grab on. Lay all your cares at His feet and allow Him to transform you in a miraculous way. It takes time, trust, patience and faith. Embrace this day and leave tomorrow to Him. The blessing of God's grace is He forgives us of our past so we can let go of that and not allow our regrets to stall us from our future. When we give all to Him, your household will be blessed and protected by His blood. Do it for you, do it for your family. Meditate on His word by reading the bible every day and become strong in prayer and He will do the rest. Amen?! Be blessed this beautiful sunny weekend.

So many people define themselves by their status, job title, money, looks, or comparison to others. Where does that leave God and faith in Him? Defining themselves by church attendance, participation, fellowship, service, tithing? Where does one rank importance on helping others and making sure your loved ones are saved? I get advice all the time on the dangers of the sun, wear sunscreen, wear a hat etc....yet they don't want to hear the dangers of avoiding or denying God. Huh? Where are people's priorities? I wonder. I see so many people change by money, a little success, a raise and they all of a sudden become someone else. How is that possible? How can we be so shallow and judgemental to one another. The bible says to remove the plank out of our own eye before we want to remove the speck out of others yet we compare and compete with each other all the time. We should be more concerned with building strong families and keeping God the center of our lives whether we are single and living alone or raising a family of ten. The basis of our life should be walking in God's will, not walking in the latest trendy restaurant with our designer trinkets in tow. Just think about it. How do you define yourself? Are your priorities in order? It is never too late to reorganize your life to God. Do it today!
