"Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. Never try to get even with someone who wronged you. The Lord fights all battles and He makes it clear in His word that we are to love and not take matters in to our own hands. In the NLT version it says that we are not to take revenge but to allow "the righteous anger of God" and it goes on to say for "He will pay them back." Let go of whatever it is or whoever it is that wronged you and allow the Lord to protect you and fight for you. He will win every time.
