To plant a seed and to wait is to believe. They are planted, harvested, and watered and they will begin to grow. These seeds are seeds of Faith. Faith is confidence in what we hope for and the assurance about what we do not see. Hebrew 11:6 Our assurance is knowing that God can. As we sew seeds they become opportunities to bless others and also it allows God to bless you. We are to have good intentions and the proper motives when we plant such seeds but I know my God will reward me. I never would do anything with selfish thoughts but because I know the way my God is, I can stand in assurance and know that He will be pleased when I do what He asks me to do. I also know the wrath of God is real and I am a true God fearing woman because I do not want to do anything that would be displeasing to Him for his discipline will come and it ain't always pretty. So my husband and I try our best to take each day at a time and do the right thing by displaying the proper motive, attitude and response. And at the end of each day we reflect on how we were pleasing to God and how we spread His love to others. That is what we live for and what we pray for. Long gone are the days we plan for ourselves and/or spoil ourselves. The "me, myself and I" decade of our lives is over. This new decade we are embarking on as we enter our 11Th year together is all about exemplifying God, His glory, His presence and His truths and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. And the way we do that is by sewing the seeds into the Kingdom of Heaven. Take the focus off our yourself and see others as God does and I am telling you, your life will change, you will change and those around you will begin to pay attention. Be blessed!
