Not only do we believe in Jesus, but He believes in us. He is our biggest supporter and indeed our biggest fan. It is safe to say that He is the only One that will never let us down. Our own emotions may cause us to think that God has disappointed us, but the truth is He always provides for our best interest. I tell my husband all the time the greatest falls he and I have had, have in fact been God's greatest displays of love. He has allowed us to fall enough so that we would turn back to Him with humble hearts. Someone may view it as God letting us down but we see it as God's never ending love. His love is consistent, fair, loyal, everlasting and pure in heart. Don't allow people or your feelings to lie to you. Don't ever doubt the power of your Almighty God. For it is He that gives you life. Live it for Him and share the free gift of Grace that He offers to us for simply believing in Him. And He will carry you to the ends of the earth.

We must all do whatever we can to help other people see the light of God. I am bothered by those that say that ignorance is bliss and I think, "and you are a child of God?" My husband tells me all the time when he speaks with new Christians the one thread in common is they tell him how many people they knew in their lives that reveal afterwards that they too are Christians. The unsaved had no idea and were never once talked to about Jesus. That makes me sad and also reflective. I try to self exam to make sure I always profess my Lord and Savior. The place we spend most of our time is in the workplace therefore it is a barometer for you to see if they do indeed know you are a believer. I used to be subtle....asking someone not to take the Lord's name in vain but I would phrase it as such..."it's not Jesus' fault you are having a bad day, don't take it out on Him" and there would be no defensive comeback. It actually would make them feel sheepish. The point is our faith and testimony can be a sweet aroma of perfume, not a suffocating perfume that overwhelms. People will listen to you and actually converse with you if you approach the subject of salvation in the right way. Don't be afraid of rejection..look at the life of Jesus here on earth? Did the man deserve one ounce of anything He endured? No, but He did it anyway and when we commit our lives to Him, we make the same commitment. So today...be bold with your faith and share the gospel of the Lord. And I pray you will be blessed as well!

Psalm 30: 4-5

We must pray with boldness, assurance and expectancy. I am never shy when talking with God and claiming His promises to me. I tell Him all the time I know He can and He will. I always align my prayers and desires with His and I make sure my heart is right with His and when I know I am being obedient, I ask of Him. My husband recently read a book where the Lord wants us to be audacious in our prayers...to expect answers in other words. I look at my circumstances now that may be similar to others but I tell the Lord I am set apart and I know He will save me and do great things. I declare my obedience in Him for He tells me my obedience will unlock His power. Be strong in your Faith. Know who your God is and know nothing is bigger than He. In these days, there is no place for feeling like a martyr. The Lord wants us to live big and pray big, according to His will. Please understand if we are sitting on our butts all day eating candy and are asking Him to give us a million dollars, you got the wrong "guy". Our Lord is a loving and caring Father and He wants us to be blessed beyond measure or even comprehension. That is the God we serve. So today I encourage you to go to Him with the desires of your heart. Ask that they be His will for your life and watch the power of God unfold in your life. Stop praying safe and move yourself into a new realm of Faith. Trust Him today!

It feels so good to give back. I can not say it enough that when the Lord moves your spirit to help someone, please make sure you do. Even when what He is asking you to do appears to be too much. If He proclaims it, He provides it. Just let go of what your head tells you and listen to the Holy Spirit and you will be blessed beyond measure. Your soul will feel great and more importantly your giving will be such a testimony for God and such a blessing to the receiver. The world is so full of selfish people that I lift up that spirit to God and I ask that He replace it with a spirit of selflessness. Imagine if we all paid it forward? We must understand that the blessings bestowed upon us are so we can in turn bless others. Too often we get caught up in the fact that God blessed us because WE are so favored and although He does honor our faithfulness, it also comes with much responsibility and expectancy. The Lord may test you with a little to see if you are indeed a good steward of your money and when He sees you are, He very often blesses you with more. This showering has very little to do with you and everything to do with others....it is so you take those blessings and glorify God with them and spread His love. THAT IS WHAT IT IS ABOUT. So I encourage you to remind yourself of this next time you are unexpectedly blessed, that you in turn bless someone else.

We will finally be made free when we come to the truth that Jesus justifies us. He is the evidence that God is real and that He loves us. By shedding His blood for our sins, He made us right with His Father, who in turn justifies man through His Son, Jesus Christ the Lord. Do you see it? Do not let your intellect, culture, tradition, religion, lifestyle, and/or agenda block you from God. Too many times we allow these substitute symbols to replace the reality that we need to establish a relationship with God. Pray for those you know that resemble this mindset. Pray that they come to know God's love through the ultimate sacrifice of His Son. And may they come to see God's light so that they too can live in an eternal house in Heaven. Amen and Amen.

God never makes mistakes. We do. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is faithful and He is good. Instead of blaming God when things go wrong, we should be bowing down before Him and repenting all of our transgressions. Whenever I get frustrated in a situation that I know God brought together the thing that gets me through it is the very assured fact that God does not make mistakes. It truly will help minister to your needs when feeling downtrodden or defeated. Just focus on Him and truly know who He is and what power He holds and what He achieved in His life for us and you will never doubt Him, your circumstances or your future again.

Deuteronomy 31:8

Tuesday, October 25, 2011

It is just as important that we remember the Lord in our life when things are going well. Everyone runs to Him when tragedy strikes or something bad is happening but where are you when all is well in your world? It is not right to Him. He wants a committed relationship with us, not a casual fling. I told my husband no one gives God the glory or "credit" when their lives are going well yet He is the first one that gets the blame when something bad happens. We hear the same thing... "how could God allow this to happen?"...."why did God let this happen to me?". He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrew 13:8 God loves you and he may have allowed an event to take place because is trying to grab your attention. He will do this. He does it out of pure love. He wants to bless you in abundance in all areas of your life and when you deny Him or forsake Him, He is devastated. He deserves ALL of you, not just some of you. He is a loving Father who will discipline us when needed. After all weren't we punished growing up when we were not behaving properly? It is the same thing with God. He will do whatever it takes to draw you closer to Him. Instead of becoming angry at Him, stop and see the love He has for you and think of how you were parented and maybe it will help you understand Him better. I shared my story of how I was given a pay cut at work and it really was hard for me but God revealed to me later He allowed it to happen in order to get my attention and at the time, I missed it. Just take some time and exam your life with Him and stay on course no matter how bumpy the road. How blessed we will be and how pleased He will be. Amen!

Please take the time and pray, especially for others. So many people are hurting and I am learning to keep them in my prayer chain so I can lift them up to the Lord. I am close with someone who has given up on God. She feels as though her life did not get better with Him, so she decided to return to controlling her own life, with dim results I might add. I know she does not pray anymore because she made that devastating declaration to me on numerous occasions so I instead pray for her daily, if not more than that. Prayer moves the gates of heaven so I ask the Lord to forgive what she says because she does not know better and to help bring her back to Him. But who else is praying for this person if not me? It makes me sad and in wonderment I truly thought that I needed to keep her in my prayers. That is why I urge you to have prayer partners, a prayer chain...people you can rely on and turn to for prayer. The bible tells us that all it takes are 2 or more people to stand in agreement for the same thing and He will be present. That is how amazing and faithful our Savior is. So make sure you are using this gift we have been given. This open communication with Him. Storm the heavens with your words and praise and it will make a difference. PRAYER WORKS!

Keep your eyes on God and hold on to Him and I promise you will get through this. For He promises us He will be with us all the way. I know it is hard and seems as though the pain is unbearable but we serve a mighty God and He is faithful to His word so do not give up! Do not allow the enemy to tell you that you are defeated! Do not believe anyone that places doubts in your mind when you declare that God can do great things in your life. He can and He will, just stay focused on Him and fall back in to His arms and let Him comfort you. He longs to hold you tight....rest in Him. He has this all under control.

Psalm 55:22

Saturday, October 22, 2011

The key to a healthy orderly life is balance. Balance in your personal, spiritual and mental state is vital. We must tip the scales equally in different areas in order to be able to enjoy them all and in order to be effective in all. You will experience burn out even with the best intentions. When people are so grateful to the Lord, they want to give back in every way and they begin to serve in various church ministries and before you know it, they committed themselves 7 days a week. I love my pastoral staff because one of them actually advised someone close to me to be careful of it because they were so willing to help wherever they could. I respected the pastor so much for freeing the person from overload. He could have taken advantage for his own gain but instead helped them to see it was okay to rest. We sometimes feel as Christians that we must always be available and never say no. That attitude pleases the Lord therefore we will be honored with his favor and He will help us with established order. He will not allow man to take advantage or manipulate you because you are so giving of a spirit. I think that is so wonderful to know that you can let go and let God and not have to try to figure it all out. I love not having to analyze one's motive or intention but instead I rest knowing that my God knows man's hearts and He will guide me through my walk so it is filled with joy, peace, love, contentment, rest and balance. Ask the Lord to help you today if you struggle with saying no. He will help you and "clean house" for you if you are unable. Ask Him to bring to you who needs you and ask Him to protect you from what is not of Him. He can and He will. Just let Him. Have a blessed weekend.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Special Note:

Today my husband and I celebrate two lives that were taking away on this day. Our blessed Mother, Ro, who passed away so young in 1999 and to our dear friend, Carole who passed away in 2004. We know heaven is having a heck of a party today and we want them to know we join them in spirit.

We must be the light in an other wise dark place. People really get taken aback when I tell them that you cannot serve both worlds. You are either in the light or in the dark. When Jesus spoke to the people He said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life". John 8:12 So many people are fooled in to thinking that if they are a good person and do nice things for others, that they will inherit eternity. But being a nice person that does not lie or steal does not permit you in to Heaven and this is where many debates kick off. I just want you to know that we must acknowledge Jesus' life and death on the cross in order to establish the right relationship with God. This is the Only Way to God. The Lord said, "The work of God is this; to believe in the One He sent." Salvation comes through faith, not works. John 6:29

The Lord will make a way even when there seems to be no way. It is true for nothing is impossible with God. The mountains in front of us are not greater than the power of our God behind us. We need to know this and claim this. We need to stop talking negatively about our situation and begin to speak positively about what our God can do. I keep these scriptures all through out my house. Outside I have a sign that reads, "You can trust me. Love, God". It ministers to me when I leave my home and I pray it ministers to those that drive by. In my bedroom I have a framed picture that states, "Trust Me Cindy. I have everything under Control. Love, Jesus". I cannot tell you how often that has helped me. When we ask the Lord to take these burdens for which we cannot bear, He does. Do not say, "I don't have enough discipline or will power to allow them to remain there". That is a lie of the enemy because if you have the Holy Spirit within you, you have the power. Stop worrying and start praying! And keep the Faith that allows the Lord to move in your life and through your life. He has it all under control. Just rest in Him today and embrace this day as a gift. Tomorrow is His. Remember that!

I can not tell you how much tithing will enrich and bless your family. It not only seals up your blessings but it will add blessed assurance to your life. I know that by exercising my Faith and by walking in Obedience, I am pleasing my God. If you earn $10, please tithe $1 and if you earned $10,000, tithe $1,000. One of the amazing things is I hear the same excuse , "Oh I can't afford to tithe that" from both earners. The one who makes very little and thinks it is impossible because there is just not enough to spare and the wealthy that is too greedy to part with so much. My response is always the same to both, "you can not afford not to nor is it a choice". Anything you are spending that 10% on instead of your God , is your idolatry. I had to tell one of my dearest friends that by her not tithing because "it wasn't in the budget" , yet her son was receiving $40 a week in allowance, she was placing him before God. Tithing brings favor, abundance and joy. The Lord blesses you in all ways of life and yes, financially as well. I changed insurance companies after being with the same company for 15 years and I saved $1042! God gets that glory. He gets all the glory. Test Him and He will show you things you do not know. If you are a faithful tither, share your testimony with others. If you are one today reading this and you do not tithe, I encourage you to try it. Meditate on Malachi 3: 8-12. The Lord wants to bless you today.....let Him!

God is love. God is truth. God is the path of righteousness. He will guide you through this life. He does not promise it to be easy; for some it will be a very hard road but he promises never to leave nor forsake us. People think choosing to live a life as a Christian is "playing it safe" but I beg to differ. Have they read the stories of men losing their very life for their faith or being imprisoned for stating their beliefs? Living a holy life in this unforsaken world is very difficult. To be the light and to be the love when you are surrounded by hate, deceit and despair is what God needs from us and it is what we are called to be. We are not to act special or think we are more important therefore there is no place for pretentiousness for it repels, not attracts. Simply share the gospel for there are so many that are hurting. Lost jobs, broken marriages, mourning a loved one, division in families, losing one's home.....we need to tell them there is hope in Christ Jesus. He can restore and renew anything no matter how it looks to their secular eye. God can save a home, a marriage, a friendship..nothing is impossible with Him. We must encourage and let them know the God we know can do anything. Be a soldier for God. Be the walking testimony at your workplace so those can see the power of God in you. Just live out the purpose for your life which is to share God with the lost and show them He is the only way!

Psalm 37

Monday, October 17, 2011

Faith is believing in what we can NOT see. We must remember that when we grow impatient with God or grow weary while we wait. Waiting for our God is part of the process of growing in Him. A child does not go from 1 years old to 18 years old in a span of 6 months, the child grows and matures and develops year after year. That is how God views us. We are His children and as we learn more and more about Him, we grow and mature and develop in our Faith. But He does not do this for us. We must seek His counsel, educate ourselves on the Word and apply what we read. We cannot be a biblical scholar but show no compassion or love when we are in the world. We will never mature in God if we get mad and give up on Him when He does not answer our prayer. Do you know how many women I know that are bitter with God because He never sent them a mate? They used God like He was an online dating service. Can you imagine? People that know about Jesus do not automatically act like Him. We must view our Christianity as a growing relationship. It takes time, effort and practice. Have you ever met a Christian person that does not act like one? I teach my little tots every Sunday to show God's love with each other. Share toys, talk with each other at snack and be kind to one another. I found myself saying the same things to my grown women I managed for years and years. Be kind, show God's love, be nice. People are people with character flaws and quirks. The Lord can change us in every way if we are willing to ask and receive it. He will develop us as we walk in Faith. But it takes time. We must vow to live for God, act like God and I am telling you, you will make the difference. Learn about Him, grow in Him and seek Him and you will be a beacon of light this world needs.

Philippians 3:12-16

Words can really change a person's life. Your encouraging words spoken to another may be the only ones they ever hear. We don't know what goes on behind closed doors. Not all that glitters is gold. We see these beautiful homes and we assume they are living the great life and there may be strife in the home. We see beautiful people and we automatically assume their life is bliss because of their looks yet they may have a spouse that abuses them. Don't hold back a kind word to someone because you think it will "go to their head" or because "they never say anything nice to me"...be like God, not like man. This world would be filled with kinder, gentler souls if we all tried to mirror the Lord and His ways and not copy what man does. I know how hard it is to be an encourager to a negative, mean spirit. I managed different personalities for years and years and I am here to tell you that no matter what their gender, age, or race was ...they all appreciated a kind, decent and uplifting word. I have had people come back years later recounting something I said to them that helped them through life and yet I don't even recall it....it is important that we show others God's love and respect, no matter what the circumstance. Give God the glory in all of it and I promise you, you are making an impact on them. And to God be all the Glory! Amen!!

Today would have been my Dad's 92nd birthday. I am so at peace knowing He is with Jesus in heaven for he gave his heart to the Lord in his 70's. Amen Hallelujah! Do you know how troubled I would be if I did not have that blessed assurance that my earthly Father was with my Heavenly Father? Do you know for sure that your loved ones are saved? That they spoke the sinner's prayer and gave their heart to Jesus? My Mom is 85 and God bless her, church goer her whole life. Recently I said the sinner's prayer with her just to make sure she was sealed up. It is vital. It is your responsibility. It is your command. We believers must spread the gospel of the Lord. We are to tell someone the good news and the Lord does the rest. We are not accountable if someone chooses to deny Him or declines your offer to pray with them. It is our responsibility to make sure they KNOW that we are all sinners and we all fall short but God did something about it in the person of Jesus Christ. He died and took all of our sins unto Him so that we may live eternally. All we must do is admit we are a sinner and believe that God did something about it, we must confess our sins to the Lord and ask Him to come in to our heart. A life with Christ will then be a changed life. How beautiful to be able to share that message. Be bold in your Faith today and bless someone with the Good News!

We must be very very careful not to envy another. Through my morning bible studies I learned how demonic the spirit of envy is today and how evil it was portrayed in the bible then . Did you know there is a vast difference between jealousy and envy? I honestly didn't and now I know that to be jealous of someone means you want what they have, if not the same, more. To envy someone means you want to block their blessings and rob them of them. To actually plot against the person. I used to work in a place that was highly competitive and I never understood why so many people "hated on me" for my success. I can see so clearly today that the environment I used to work in was of demonic spirits and that the owner himself ran his company this way. I was in a meeting room one day waiting for everyone to arrive and he looked cold into my eyes and asked me "how does it feel to be independently wealthy with all your town homes and cars?" One of his executives stated to me on another occasion "look at how you set yourself up so nicely making all this money without having to deal with the owner every day". Even my direct boss jumped on this bandwagon and came in to my office one day and I had a Saks Fifth Avenue tote bag on my floor and he commented, "must be nice to have money". Mind you these people making these comments to me were all earning half a million or more and yet they were making these cruel comments to me. I was so upset and did not understand why I was being punished for being successful? Is it no wonder that the Lord freed me from this place shortly thereafter? I understand more than ever why the Lord said, "Let no man enslave you to the blessings that I bestowed upon you" . Today I can see what was happening to me. I was a Christian woman shining God's light and the blessings He bestowed upon me were the very things they envied in me and plotted to take from me. What they plotted in their hearts towards me was evil and to harm, but the Lord turned it all around for good and removed me from that place once and for all after 21 years of service. Romans 12:21 What a mighty God we serve. Be on guard today if you know anyone that is acting this way towards you or if you feel this way towards another. Ask the Lord God to remove this from you for it is of the evil one and it will destroy you. If you are experiencing it towards you than you must pray to the Lord to protect you and let no weapon formed against you prosper. Take heed and take heart today.

Fear is the opposite of Faith. The enemy will use people's fears to get to you. Fear is contagious. It is an emotion that takes our eyes off the Word and places our eyes on man and circumstance. Then what happens is people react to the fear instead of staying in God's promise. And the very thing that you fear most will become your master. We must proclaim that our God has given us a spirit of power, love, and sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 We are anointed and satan is not. Do Not Fear him for he is a coward. Tell him to bow down before you. He knows who you are. Come out of hiding and be bold. Learn how to confront fear so you can overcome it and not beat yourself up. Meditate on Proverbs 29:25 which tells us "Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe." Hold on to that promise and know God's presence is here. "Fear not for I am with you."

There is power in prayer. And the Lord is present when two or more gather together in agreement on something. The meaning to that scripture is we are to pray for one another. Ask others to pray for you. My husband and I had some people praying in unison for us last week and we were aware they were and my husband had an altar worker at church pray over us and I am telling you, the Lord began to instantly move. We have been praying and believing for something for over a year and we have seen the mountains begin to crumble and the seas begin to part. I feel His presence and I see His hand moving. It is thrilling and humbling and I am in awe of Him. It is extremely important that you pray for others. My pastor speaks a lot about "praying on the spot" and my hubby is so good about it. When he is with someone, he always asks if there is anything they want to pray about and he prays right then and there. He is such an inspiration to me. I lose him in church all the time and always find him in a spot somewhere praying with someone. But I also remind him he needs prayers as well. He needs to be strengthened so he can continue to do God's work. So be bold for others and be bold for yourself. I am never shy asking someone to pray for me so don't be either. I was asked by someone to pray for them and they followed it by saying, "please pray for me because I don't really know who else is besides my spouse" and I thought it was such a poignant statement. So lift up your spouse, your family, friends, even enemies up to the Lord today and ask that they be blessed in the name of the Father, in the name on the Son. Amen and Amen.

Matthew 18:20

Obedience is key to your Christian walk for it unlocks God's power in your life. The bible speaks of some men who were asked by God to make sacrifices for His sake and other men were asked to sell all they had and follow Him. Would you be able to put something down if God asked you to? Would you be able to walk away from your life selling all your possessions and preach the gospel from place to place if God asked you to? Those examples may be severe but the point is God does speak to us and does ask things of us, but we often ignore Him because we don't want to give up something or give in to someone, even if He asks that we do. This is where we disobey and it causes murky waters otherwise avoided. Some of us will repeat this mistake again and again and then wonder why our lives are not where we want them to be. God is ready to speak to us. He left His Word behind if only we would take the time to read what He has to say. Have you ever looked at the index of your bible? Every emotion, every example of life is in there under topical index with scriptures along side to guide us through God's word on that particular subject. We don't have to walk through this life alone. We have the Lord God Almighty by our side each day, every step of the way. But we must ask the Lord to speak to us and we must promise that we will listen and obey.

Leviticus 19:37

I find such peace when I rest in the Lord. It brings me to a deeper level of comfort and strength. I catch myself taking long breaths in because I am taking it all in. To truly relinquish your life to the Lord takes a lot out of you and it is why I sigh so much. This was a very trying week and I surrendered to God something I was holding on to and as soon as I did it and meant it truly in my heart, the Lord began to move. So I stand in prayer that the Lord will finally remove or restore what has been in my life for over a year. I trust whatever He decides, it will be in the best interest of my husband and I. The future is in His hands and I know He's got this. I know He does not promise a perfect life here on earth for that treasure will be spent in heaven. For this life .... I just rest knowing that He is with me, for me and beside me. Can't ask for more than that.

Absolutely beautiful!

This world is not a big fan of grace. And yet it is a free gift from God. But people will go to any lengths possible to buy things in order to fill up their void. They will try to consume so much yet it is never enough. Try to earn more and more money to buy more and more things. Well money may be able to buy a house but it cannot buy a home. Money may even be able to buy a marriage but it cannot buy true love. Money may be able to buy the latest technology but it cannot buy a true companionship with another human being. Today it is all I can do to not lecture people with IPhones and the models and all the hype over the death of Steve Jobs. He was a genius of a man and very talented but in ways his inventions also ushered in a lot of bad. Some technology is not always bigger and better. It can and already has created alot of destruction as well. I am saddened for his family's loss but he is being deemed a legend and a hero and I beg to differ. One person described his inventions as forever changing the world. Can you imagine? There is only one Creator that forever changed the world and that is the person of Jesus Christ. The latest models may be today's news but they cannot spread the good news of the Savior and King. So we must really pray for the hearts of man today. For they do not know. So many are lost and are not guaranteed tomorrow and they keep accumulating more and more to fill a heart that cannot be filled without the love of Christ. Share His story with another today. It may very well change a life and no amount of money can do that!

God tests us so that we may experience victory. People argue this point and say the Lord is a loving God and does not test us. Don't get it mistaken. God will never tempt us, but He will test us so we that we can exercise our faith in the battle of life. Tests are to teach us how to trust God no matter what may come. I am ashamed when I fail at a test because I should know better. I just try to recognize my failure and repent it to God and not dwell. I will reflect back and see where the test was, the purpose for it and the result of it. Then learn from it. The bible says God will test our hearts and the Word is all we need to win every time. We must guard our self. Use wisdom in every situation and learn not what to do .... react than act. Instead, be still in God and allow His voice to truly guide your heart. It is the almighty power of God that we can rely upon when we are obedient to Him. I will no longer allow myself to get caught up in the emotion of the circumstance but instead, fast and pray and trust in the Lord.

It does not cost anything to believe in Jesus, but it costs everything not to. I pray for those lost today. If you know someone that needs the word of God, be bold in your faith and share with them. The gospel is free AND the news is priceless. Stand up for the truth today and help save lives. No one is guaranteed tomorrow and we cannot allow innocent people to die without knowing how much Jesus loved them. We are accountable where we work, where we bank, where we shop, where we eat ...... to share Jesus with them. Plant the seeds for harvest today. God will be with you.

Waiting on the Lord is really strengthening me. I am noticing how the time waiting is a "gift" in and of itself. For this "gift" has allowed me to really reflect on what exactly I am asking for and much is being revealed. I feel I am being prepared to accept the Lord's decision easier. Especially when it appears as though what I am asking for is not going to happen. I have been in prayer for something for quite a long time and I am slowly seeing the shift in my prayers and in my thinking. I equate it, if I may, to someone you love being diagnosed with a terminal disease and how you prepare yourself for that moment they are gone. Preparing, mourning, grieving, I am experiencing all of those things now and I am beginning to think the very thing I wanted so badly may in fact not come to be, according to God's will for my life. And I do not get angry at the Lord at all for He loves me and I know He has my best interest at heart. I must be mature enough in my Faith to exemplify and glorify Him in both answered prayers....and unanswered prayers. So today while I wait, my Faith is in Action. Today I will pray. Today I will continue to rejoice in the Lord for all He has done for me and I will count all things joy. I am blessed and so are you.

Put your trust in Him. Man will disappoint you and let you down. But God never will. He is our Provider and our Protector and when we place our trust in Him, He will prevail. We must choose to live for Him and not man. Go to Him when your heart is heavy and ask that He help you through. Uncertainty may loom around us, but our hope in God is eternal. Lean not on man or our own understanding, but in all things, trust the One who has been there for us always. Always follow His decrees, learn His commandments and love as He loves. And He will bless you always.

Do you ever feel that God is punishing you? Abandoning you? Ignoring you in the time of need? Please know He loves you more than you could ever imagine and He is working everything out for your good. He hears your cries. We are so conditioned to getting whatever we want, when we want it in this "instant gratification" state of a place with the 24 hour grocery stores, ATM machines, fast food drive thru's, online shopping, computer access, that we don't like to wait. Yet we must all remember Who we are waiting for. God's delays are not denials. The conveniences of this world have actually hurt people's walk. It has made people expect, demand, and become spoiled. Stop placing God's work on a time table. Instead pray that His will for your life be all that you desire and vow to wait upon Him no matter what the cost or how long it takes. That is exercising our Faith. He is Our Almighty God and He can do anything He wants whenever He wants, therefore understand the journey He has us on is as important as the destiny. Let's just embrace this time with Him and never doubt that when it appears as though nothing happening, something IS happening. Amen? Amen. Stand on your Faith and wait upon Him.

Isaiah 40:31

The Lord blesses the home of the righteous. I love that. Guard your home. Pray every single day that your home be sealed with the Lord's precious blood and that there will be angels surrounding every inch of it. I lift my house up to the Lord every morning as I descend down my stairs. I like to display scripture plaques all through out my rooms so that they will be a constant reminder to my guests and to myself that we serve a living God and that He is the King of the Most High. Allow the Holy Spirit to dwell in your home. I cannot tell you how many people have entered my house and felt the peace of the Lord and became engulfed in the feeling of love. A Jewish friend of mine came to visit my husband and I when we first built our house and moved in and he called me the next day and said he felt such a presence of love as soon as he walked in. And let me tell you this man is not a mushy kinda guy let alone one that offers up much compliments. He is more on the pretentious side than the humble side but he himself was overcome by the power of the Holy Ghost. And said so. What a mighty miracle. We often hear we need to be a living testimony and we assume it means when we enter the world but see how we can bear witness even at home? Share your Faith. Be a soldier for God every where, every day.

I choose to leave my worries with Jesus. I have to. I cannot think this all through on my own. So many unanswered questions, concerns about tomorrow. I trusted in Him so far, therefore I know I can believe in Him for my future. I reflect back on what He has done for me and my family and I just know with blessed assurance that whatever it is He decides for my life, I can accept it with grace and mercy. Choose God today. Allow Him to carry your woes. Be anxious for nothing today and instead pray for everything today. Once you do that, you will feel a sense of peace come over you. And we all must remember that our God is bigger and greater and more powerful than any problem we are facing. Amen? Amen!

It is when we are in the midst of circumstances beyond our control, that we need to call upon God. I try to claim scriptures of promise for my family when I feel vulnerable or helpless. Exodus 14:14 is such a powerful promise that I lean on and rely on. I am totally dependent on the Lord. When emotions get in the way...fear, anger, resentment, past reminders, I know the enemy is present and is trying to dissuade me and get me to react to my surroundings. I rebuke the spirit in Jesus name and I call upon His name for refuge. It is all I can do. It is all I want to do. It is all God asks me to do. So if you are scared of your circumstances today and you cannot possibly see a way out, please stop and seek Him. Nothing is impossible with God on our side. He tells me His way is the way and I believe Him, in good times....and in bad. So don't get in the way of God's work today. Allow Him to complete what He has begun. Claim your favorite comforting scripture on your life today and ask Him to grant you peace that surpasses your understanding. You will feel better and any spirits that are not of God will be lifted. So enjoy your day today and I will leave you with this... "The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still."
