There is power in prayer. And the Lord is present when two or more gather together in agreement on something. The meaning to that scripture is we are to pray for one another. Ask others to pray for you. My husband and I had some people praying in unison for us last week and we were aware they were and my husband had an altar worker at church pray over us and I am telling you, the Lord began to instantly move. We have been praying and believing for something for over a year and we have seen the mountains begin to crumble and the seas begin to part. I feel His presence and I see His hand moving. It is thrilling and humbling and I am in awe of Him. It is extremely important that you pray for others. My pastor speaks a lot about "praying on the spot" and my hubby is so good about it. When he is with someone, he always asks if there is anything they want to pray about and he prays right then and there. He is such an inspiration to me. I lose him in church all the time and always find him in a spot somewhere praying with someone. But I also remind him he needs prayers as well. He needs to be strengthened so he can continue to do God's work. So be bold for others and be bold for yourself. I am never shy asking someone to pray for me so don't be either. I was asked by someone to pray for them and they followed it by saying, "please pray for me because I don't really know who else is besides my spouse" and I thought it was such a poignant statement. So lift up your spouse, your family, friends, even enemies up to the Lord today and ask that they be blessed in the name of the Father, in the name on the Son. Amen and Amen.
