I can not tell you how much tithing will enrich and bless your family. It not only seals up your blessings but it will add blessed assurance to your life. I know that by exercising my Faith and by walking in Obedience, I am pleasing my God. If you earn $10, please tithe $1 and if you earned $10,000, tithe $1,000. One of the amazing things is I hear the same excuse , "Oh I can't afford to tithe that" from both earners. The one who makes very little and thinks it is impossible because there is just not enough to spare and the wealthy that is too greedy to part with so much. My response is always the same to both, "you can not afford not to nor is it a choice". Anything you are spending that 10% on instead of your God , is your idolatry. I had to tell one of my dearest friends that by her not tithing because "it wasn't in the budget" , yet her son was receiving $40 a week in allowance, she was placing him before God. Tithing brings favor, abundance and joy. The Lord blesses you in all ways of life and yes, financially as well. I changed insurance companies after being with the same company for 15 years and I saved $1042! God gets that glory. He gets all the glory. Test Him and He will show you things you do not know. If you are a faithful tither, share your testimony with others. If you are one today reading this and you do not tithe, I encourage you to try it. Meditate on Malachi 3: 8-12. The Lord wants to bless you today.....let Him!
