Happy New Year. A new year of fresh beginnings and new goals. A clean slate to start over. The world tells us it is the time to feel anew and refreshed. The calendar prompts people to think "out with the old and in with the new" for it is a new start. That is what we hear and think right? But did you know that you can experience a fresh beginning every day with the Lord? "He is faithful to us and His mercies begin afresh each morning". Lamentations 3:23 The bible says nothing about once a year or when the clock strikes midnight on January 1st. That is a lie of the flesh and man. When we confess our sins to the Lord, we have a clean spiritual slate; no matter what time of day or year it is. It should not be a scheduled ritual for three times a year in church or only when the new year arrives. This gift is available to a child of God every minute of every hour of every day. A child of God is a conqueror and a victor in Christ, not in this world. You do not need a crystal ball to drop at midnight to tell you that you can "start over". The Lord promises us in Philippians 4:13 that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". No where does it recite on January 1st or in some things, it says in all things. Give every day to God and you will never feel less of yourself or guilty for your shortcomings, but instead you will feel content, whole and complete. What a wonderful promise to know that no matter what day of the week or month the calendar says it is, you will feel blessed and assured in your Lord! You can know the Lord on a more intimate way by trusting in Him every day and relying on Him in every way. I pray your days are filled with His presence, promise and provision. Have a blessed Monday!

  1. My name is Chris Luongo. I had the pleasure of meeting your husband at the eagles game Sunday. He was of great help to my wife and I(our tickets went missing). He is a really great person. Your blog is beautiful and I wish the best to your family. It's always refreshing to meet people who are genuine and pure. Thank you

  3. Thank you Cindy. Honestly. I was really blown away with the generosity and attention I received. He went well above and beyond to cater to us and improved our experience. Which was actually my wife's first eagles game. You could see it in his face that he was a genuine and good person and very sincere. Please pass these words on to him as I could not thank him enough while I was there. We have a one month old daughter today, and I've been seeing things in a different light of course, and that being the first time we went out to do something since the birth of Kyra Jade Luongo; it was phoenominal to meet someone who truly cared for us,strangers, to improve our experience. I only wish I could somehow return the favor.

  4. I will Chris. He will be so pleased. Iknow he was so good at that job so please pray for us because that was his day of employment now that the eagles' season is over. So he is now looking for a new full time job. Keep your eyes and ears open if you know of anything...and bless your heart...God bless baby Kyra.
