Love God. Love others. When we truly give our hearts to God, His love transforms us. We then begin to think differently, we live differently and we act differently. This change in us becomes impossible to ignore and others will notice it too. Your light will shine. When we live for God, our mindset will also change and we will be more like Him and God loved people. All people. Rich people. Poor people. Black people. White people. Young people. Old people. God showed no favoritism when it came to his people. Therefore He instructs us to love our neighbors as ourselves, pray for our enemies and change from our selfish ways. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8 It is a biblical principle that is so simple and yet so often we miss it. So today my prayer is that we come together as one family and share the love of God with everyone we come to meet each and every day. God tells us to love others as He loves us so as children of God, I pray we listen and obey this commandment. Amen and amen.
