Who do you place your trust in? Do you include God in that answer and if so, how much do you honestly trust Him with your life? I pose the question because so many people hear about God and even come to God through the salvation prayer yet they don't really know Him. They don't learn about Him nor do they really grow in Him. And it ends up being a decision that slowly fades into the past. When we truly ask the Lord to be our Savior and come into our hearts and dwell within us and guide all of our days, our hearts change and our lives follow suit. It is a natural desire that comes over you that makes you want to put down the things of sin and pick up the things of righteousness. When that happens a relationship "buds then blossoms" through consistent prayer and studying Him. Our faith becomes a part of our life and therefore we learn to trust in Him. My husband and I say it all the time we don't know what we would do without having Jesus Christ in our lives. He is our Father, Counselor, Friend and everything else in between. Our faith carries us through the pit and into the light each and every time. I speak of the kind of trust that of blind faith for we do not know what lies ahead nor can we see what is our future yet we know, we know, we know that whatever happens, He is in control and it is within His will. So if you have come to a place of doubt or a place of sluggish faith, let this be the day you choose to rededicate your life to the One who loves you more than anyone ever will of this earth or beyond. It is in Jesus name I pray this for you. Amen.
