Have you ever sowed a seed of faith? Made a tithe or offering out of your poverty and not your excess? I truly believe these acts of true faith move the Spirit of the Lord. Anyone can give out of excess but when you stand faithful to your tithes and offerings during the famine, God blesses. I encourage you all to continue to tithe without fear and with all knowing that HE will provide all of your needs. "I will open up the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessings there will not be enough room to store it". He even tells us to "test me on this". Malachi 3:10 I cannot even begin to tell you all the times my Lord has blessed me when there seemed to be no way. He will bless you with spiritual protection, His favor and even with time. And for those that are thinking, "I just cannot afford to tithe at this time", I say....."YOU CANNOT AFFORD NOT TO". Believe me when I tell you, if you do not follow this command, the money you are holding on to, will be spent or lost in more ways than 10%. And you will be bound in financial bondage one way or another. I had to tell a dear friend of mine that she was putting her own son before the Lord and providing for his needs above the Lord's command and it was a form of idolatry. It was not easy to say but the Lord spoke through me in order to reach her. She has since listened and obeyed and her financial situation has made a complete turn around. Glory be to God in the Highest. He is faithful and worthy to be praised. But keep in mind, even though He promises our tithes and offerings will be rewarded, do it with a pure heart and tithe with faith, not with an agenda. The Lord is our God and not to be looked upon as an ATM machine. Give with the right reasons. And I know He will honor your faithfulness, you need not worry in these scary unknown financial times. The economy may be weak but our God is strong. Remember that!

Malachi 3:8-12
