His love endures forever. My Lord is my most faithful friend. He is there for me through it all and whether I am on a high peak of a wave or in my deepest pit of hopelessness, He is there. And He always will be. I love Him and value Him in my life for He brings me hope, peace and assurance. And He can do that for you. If you have never asked Jesus into your life and asked Him to be your Lord and Savior, you can do it right now, right where you are in the privacy of your own home or car. And simply confess your sins to Him and commit your life to Him. Believe that God sent His only Son here to die for us so that we could live in eternity with Him and ask Him in to your heart and He will answer that request for He has longed to hear those words. He has a calling for you and wants you as His own and you will become part of the Kingdom of Heaven. He loves you, He knows your burdens, your disappointments, your fears, your concerns, your worries and your situation and He wants to come into your life to be your Savior of your sin and heal you of your wounds and bless you, love you and comfort you. So in the name of Jesus powered by the Holy Spirit, I pray that you receive Him today as your personal Lord and Savior for there is no greater thing. And although your life will still be bumpy for none of us are spared pain, the difference now is you will not have to face it alone and be in despair ever again for there is power in the blood and there is hope in Christ Jesus.

" So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand." Isaiah 41:10

Words the Lord spoke to my brother as we pray for my Mom who is in critical condition right now in ICU. They told me 2 plus 2 does not equal 4 in medicine so anything could go wrong, well in His world 2 plus 2 does equal 4 and He is in control. So I ask for prayer intercessors today. Thank you and be blessed!

Stay faithful and stay on course. As hard as it may be to trust in the Lord with all your heart and stay still when the waves are coming straight for you, you must. What is the alternative? When we manipulate the situation or react to our circumstances, we make decisions based on emotions and feelings and it is never good. Recite and declare Proverbs 3:5 that you will trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. The Lord will not let us drown in the storm therefore be not afraid. I am challenged myself right now by very overwhelming circumstances but I know my Lord loves me and is pleased with me. I know my obedience to His Word is what moves Him and is what most pleases him so I vow to continue to hold on to my faith, to believe in His promise and to glorify His Holy Name each and every day. For I know after this powerful and mighty storm will come a beautiful and magnificent rainbow. And I will wait upon Him to see this all through to that glorious sight.

The enemy wants to steal your joy.  And he will use the closest people to you to do just that. And not only will he use people but he will use your very words against you. Your spoken fears, your admitted faults or annoyances, anything negatively spoken will be used against you. That is why I am forever  telling people not to speak their fears out loud for the devil and his demons can NOT read minds.  Anything that comes out of your mouth is "ammunition" to them.  Believe it!  They are all around us and we must fight them with our spiritual selves. They do not know what to do when you declare peace in the Lord, when you praise His holy name Yeshua and simply when you rejoice in His goodness.  We all must be mindful of our words.  And if I sound like a broken record and relentless that is because the principalities of evil are relentless.  You must keep your Armor of God on every waking second of your day. And it starts right now, right where you are....for each day we must rejoice in the Lord and be glad in it AND we must prepare ourselves for the spiritual warfare that wages around us.

God's will for us
"Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

"And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints...."  Ephesians 6:10-18

Sometimes we cry out to God and ask for His help and we then choose to ignore His direction. We know as believers that when we surrender our will to Him and humbly bow before Him with our prayers, He will direct us to which path to take. But too often we don't want to take that path whether it be out of pride, fear of the unknown or laziness. There are many times we ask God for answers then we moan at his response. Life with God is very hard but it is also very rewarding but it is not an easy life. We are utterly defenseless at times and completely vulnerable and dependent. For me, I have always been an independent, strong, controlling type of person so I needed God to intervene and humble me to the point where He is my strength and my source for everything. I am nothing without Him and I am 100% completely dependent on Him to provide my every need. There is favor with the humble man and ...

"I ask you Lord right now where I am to come to me and to all your children who are at your mercy and please comfort us today with your touch and please grant us enormous favor and I ask that you open up the gates of heaven and pour out your blessings unto us for we need you Father, now more than ever. I ask that you grant us favor, mercy and grace in all that we do and may we be blessed so we in turn will be able to bless another. I thank you for answering my prayer. Amen!"

May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us.  Psalm 90:17 God's favor is when you've got God's blessings on your life.  The Lord is moved when we thank Him and give glory to Him in all things therefore be mindful to speak all positive and thankful words. I thank the Lord each and everyday and I declare His favor in my life.  I expect it.  That is my God. The Lord did not suffer on the cross so we would live lives of misery and sorrow. God wants us to live in abundance of peace and joy in all situations and rest in His promise of everlasting life. If you are hurting in any area and have been grumbling and complaining out loud a lot, stop. Stop speaking vile into your life for the Lord is not pleased. When we speak these things, it does not move God in our life. Therefore be faithful, restful, thankful and above all grateful for these days are the days the Lord has made and we will be glad in all of them!

Proverbs 3

New International Version (NIV)

3.Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
    bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4.Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.

AUDACIOUS PRAYERS
HAVE YOU EVER DEMANDED ANYTHING FROM GOD?

Insisting, demanding; words we don’t usually associate with prayer,
but frequently see happening in God’s word.  God proves how pleased He is when His people expect His goodness to be evident, and He answers generously. Don’t you think it’s worth learning how to please God with your demands? Psalm 90 records Moses’ prayer when he insists that God grant him good years for all to see – for as many good years to make up for the bad.

Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us, The years in which we have seen evil. Let Your work appear to Your servants, And Your glory to their children. And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our handsPsalm 90:15-17

Today I am lifting up my voice to God and demanding a change in the same spirit as Moses, for God to grant my husband and I  a life that reflects His power. I am crying out to heaven today to see change in my family, my finances, my marriage, and the life of my wonderful friend, V Mae, and all other aspects in my life. This prayer asks that the works of our hands be established, so we will also wash our hands in water to represent the blessing of the Lord Jesus Christ being poured out upon us. Just as God honored Moses' prayer to bring about success to His people, God will honor the faith of everyone in agreement with His promises.

Won't you stand with me in prayer?

Sharing God's blessings is really just a matter of passing on to others the blessings the Lord gives us. This is not just about money. There are many ways we serve with the gifts He has bestowed upon us. Employment is one place for you to share because you may be the only example of Christ your co workers will ever see. So gossiping, showing up late and grumbling is not the way. I remember when a younger man told me that he remembered me forgiving him years back for doing something terrible and because he said he was sorry, I immediately forgave and told him Jesus would have it no other way. All those years later he shared that he felt I was the most honest and true example of Christ in comparison to the other Christians at our workplace. Talents and abilities are a way of giving back to your church, neighborhood, community. Your abundant blessings can help another. I remember when my husband and I had a terrible time where both of are vehicles were out of commission at the exact same time and the kindness of a neighbor got us through. She offered up one of her vehicles to us and we were able to attend and serve at church and keep all obligations and commitments until we were back on the road. We never forgot that gesture for it was her blessing of having extra cars that enabled her to bless us. Spiritual gifts are given by the Holy Spirit to every believer ( at least one spiritual gift) to use for the good of the church. Our past experiences can be used to help those facing the same situation now. Lastly your biblical wisdom and knowledge is a gift to which to share with others. My husband reads the bible every morning and every night before bed and absorbs it to the point he is able to apply it in his daily evangelist walk. His ministry benefits from it when they share and minister to one another and more than that when they walk the streets in hopes of sharing the gospel and saving the lost. So all that we have is truly not for our benefit but a privilege God has given us to carry out His purpose for someone else's life. The mindset of selfishness, self righteousness and self preservation and survival must come to an end. And we must all set our minds on service, selflessness and sharing. And it is in your name, Jesus, I pray that this message is read and received by others and that it truly changes the hearts and minds of your children to go and do your work and bless another for your honor and your glory. Amen and amen.

May your home always be a place to refresh your spirit.  I truly believe our homes should be our havens.  One of the greatest compliments my husband and I ever received was when a non believer friend of ours visited our house when we first moved in and commented later how peaceful the feeling was and how he actually felt the love in the home.  I knew it was the Holy Spirit and I shared that with him and he smiled. We have had friend's children stay with us and bear testimony to us later how their children left our home differently than when they came.  That is the Lord.  We love to arm our homes with plaques and displayed bibles and books and pictures all throughout the rooms of the house (walls, guest rooms, bathrooms) to declare the power of our Living God.  There is no greater joy than to be used by the Lord for His glory and purpose.  When a guest comes to your home and feels at rest and at peace and can be themselves, that is the power of God.  So I encourage you and challenge you to prepare your home for yourself, for your children, for your family and for your friends and even strangers.  My pool is surrounded by scriptural garden stones and signs.  It is a beautiful sight and may very well be what someone needs at that time in their lives.  So be a blessing to others today.  For what we do to another, we do to Jesus and so when we  give of ourself to another, God is so pleased. And that is enough for me. Have a blessed day in His precious name.

I dedicate this day to my wonderful Father God who blessed my husband and I with our beautiful home. We moved in seven years ago yesterday and that date marked the Lord's completion and today we declare the beginning of something new for 8 represents "a beginning". So we are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us next.

Psalm 5:12
12 For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

I choose to turn my eyes upon Jesus and look in to His wonderful face.  I am not looking about my circumstances nor will I allow myself to be angry at anyone.  I choose my faith in the Almighty God and I choose life and I choose joy and I choose peace no matter what.  If you are in a valley right now, simply surrender it all to Him.  Tell Him today you are unable to handle it anymore, the stress, the constant worriment, the anxiety, the lack of patience....just give it ALL to Him and ask Him to oversee your life.  Nothing is of any surprise to Him and although our journeys are all personal and are all different, one thing remains absolute and that is...if God is in the center of your life, than He has a greater plan for you and He wants to test your endurance, trust and faith. God is not cruel nor is He going to abandon you.  He is a God of forgiveness therefore do not allow the enemy to lie to you.  I believe the greater the storm, the greater the blessing. I believe the enemy throws all he has at us to get us to give up before our blessing. I believe when the pressure really comes on strong, the blessing is right around the corner. So from me to you....DON"T GIVE UP AND KEEP THE FAITH. TRUST IN THE LORD FOR ALL THINGS. The bible tells us that "who shall ever trust in the Lord shall never be out to shame." Romans 10:11

Psalm 25:3

New International Version (NIV)
No one who hopes in you
will ever be put to shame,
but shame will come on those
    who are treacherous without cause.

Worrying does not take away tomorrow's troubles; it takes away today's peace.  I love that! God wants us to rest in His peace.  I know it is so easy to say to another, "don't worry about it, trust God" yet it is so hard to comprehend it for ourselves.  The truth is we are to trust God in all things.  Faith comes from prayer and belief in Him. Prayer keeps us closer to our Lord and prayer keeps us grounded.  My husband's secret to staying calm and at peace is He reads the Word faithfully and constantly. It keeps Him content and grateful and very serene. I like to read verses more and jump around the bible but that calms me. I like to read God's promises head on because He is faithful and true and I know that every word I read is true.  And I reflect back a lot. When I allow my mind to "go there" my mouth just drops with all He has done for us. Miracle after miracle, answered prayer after answered prayer.  Sometimes when God is trying to get your attention He will allow things to happen in your life so that you will stop and turn to Him. Some acknowledge it and others ignore it. When we become mature in spirit, we are able to know when it is God. I have missed His voice so many times so I now pray for discernment and wisdom and such divine intervention so that it never happens again. And that is why I blog, I pray, I share, I devote quiet time to my Lord and most of all why I trust and believe. Because I devoted my life to Him and His will for my life. I will embrace whatever He has in store for me and I will not be afraid.  So today, instead of worrying, just pray. Just reflect. Just be still in His arms. Just trust.

I am so saddened by people and their lack of compassion.  Their lack of desire to help others in need.  I cry so often when I see the behavior of some and I pray to the Lord to bless me in that way for I will show them how it is to be. We are not to view money as something to accumulate for ourselves but we are to see how we can use it as a blessing for others.  Luke 12:34 says " For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."  Seek the kingdom of God and make Him Lord of your life...your whole life and everything else will come together. But if you are holding on to money like it is yours, be very aware of what the bible says. How we view money is of interest to the Lord. He wants us to look at our finances/blessings as to how can we use this for God's purpose. If your excuse is, "well I have my own bills to pay for" or " I can't help you, I gotta help me..I have a car, mortgage, kids, college, credit cards" or "I have retirement to save for"... do you know what the bible instructs us to do if our possessions and financial goals are hindering us from giving generously, loving others and serving God?  It instructs us to sell what we must to bring our life into perspective.  It is all His, not ours.  I remember one night reflecting back on my old job and leaving it and getting kinda upset thinking the opportunity to make that kind of money was over and you know what the Lord had to say to me? He vividly said, "Your blessings never came from them, they came from me." And I never looked at anything, anyone, any job or any opportunity again the same way for everything in our life that comes to us is but a vessel to which God uses to bless us. And it is He that gets all the glory in my feast or in my famine. And I choose to trust Him today. I hope you do too.

Lord, I thank you for all your have blessed me with. My husband who is truly a man of God who dedicates his life to you and saving the lost. You gave me my heart's desire which was to be with a man of God who loved and served you first.  You have given me my health, my family and my wonderful home to enjoy and live in as my haven.  I let go of everything and I give it all to you today so that you are in control of it all. My health, wealth, relationships...everything.  For none of it matters without You in my life.  I ask that you forgive me for worrying about so much lately. I ask that you refresh and restore my faith in You for I know you know my needs and I know that my desires are aligned with yours and that you will provide. Forgive those that choose to look the other way and not help or those that have disappointed me by not supporting my business in anyway. I forgive them and I pray for them because I know my work will be successful with You in the center and You will enlarge my territory so that I can be a blessing to others and I need not worry. I love you and I thank you and I rejoice in this day.  And it is in your precious name that I ask these things. Amen.

Psalm 118:8

New International Version (NIV)

8 It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in humans.

Man will let you down but God never will. I thank you Lord for being someone I can put my confidence in and I thank you for reminding me when I have days like I have been having. I will not cry because I am disappointed in man but instead rejoice because you are good and your love endures forever. I love you Lord!

The Lord is mighty to save. He will come to you where ever you are and save you. He wants us to have life and have it in abundance. When the bible speaks of abundance it means plentiful. Plenty of peace, joy, love, faith....we are not all blessed in the financial sense of the word like some take it to mean. But I will share this with you....if you work, tithe, budget and save, you will experience financial freedom. The Lord will honor your stewardship of your money and blessings and will favor you. That means you have sealed yourself up financially and will be financially sound. Whether you have very little or too much to spend in this lifetime, we are to tithe our portion to the church where we are fed and give of ourselves in ways of love offerings and blessings. The Lord blesses us so that we in turn will bless another. So don't be afraid to test God in this. In fact the bible states the Lord's very quote in that you can test Him on this promise that if you should tithe...."He will open up the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it". Malachi 3:10

Lord, today I ask that you bless your children in all ways. Through our obedience we unlock your power and favor unto our lives and I lift us up to you. For all that are weary and need your Word today, bless us Father. And for those that are waiting upon their miracle, may this be the day you reveal yourself to them. And it is your name I pray. Amen.

Neither circumstance nor counsel alone should determine God's guidance. They must work in conjunction with persevering prayer, dependence on the Holy Spirit, and immersion in God's Word. George Sweeting writes in How to Discover the Will of God: "Often guidance in the will of God will come to us in the normal circumstances of life, through opened and closed doors. But be careful not to give this area more consideration than it deserves. Satan can also open and shut doors of opportunity. Gather all the facts and prayerfully seek the mind of God. " With that said, it can be difficult to discern whether or not we are progressing in the right direction. God asks us to wait for His answer and well we should. But He also can use the fog of uncertainty in a corrective manner to re chart our course, rethink our request or examine our relationship with Him. Common factors that can obscure the unfolding of His plan are disobedience, doubt, manipulation, wrong motivation, ignoring responsibilities, rejecting the channel or means, and our pride. What I am guilty of and am learning is to not assume I did the wrong thing when I run into trouble. He does not want us to become neurotic about missing His will. I am learning not to expect God to reveal His life plan for me all at once. Knowing God's will is a step by step, day by day process in which we develop Christian character and maturity. The Christian life is one of faith and that involves dependence on God. But waiting on God is not passive, but going about your tasks, knowing that God is orchestrating for your good. Be strong and of good faith and don't give in. And remember today not to get caught in the "paralysis of analysis" but instead keep up your daily routine and keep your spiritual eyes and ears alert to God's small surprises. Be blessed by these words and may you find encouragement from them. God loves you!

Psalm 40:8

Thursday, June 14, 2012

Thursday, June 14, 2012

Do you ever grow impatient with God?  Have you ever gotten angry at Him for ignoring you or making you suffer in the waiting?  I think if we were all being honest, we would respond with a yes.  I love the Lord with all my heart and I get the whole waiting season; I know it makes me stronger and more dependent on Him etc...I am very aware but it still is hard.  I truly do not allow myself to really dwell on my current circumstances because I would go into panic mode for sure.  But I know my Lord wants me right where I am and nothing that has occurred is of any surprise to Him so what other choice do I have but to accept this "season" of my life and find the joy and peace in it? I could be miserable and dwell on the negative and make myself sick with worry or I can see all the miraculous things the Lord has done for me in the last two years. For the first time in my life I can say I know what it feels like to be free. And I am very happy.  I know what you are thinking, "how can she be happy and free with her circumstances?" My response: The Lord.  I have the Lord and His blessed assurance.  All I have to do is reflect back on all He has done for me and I know that He is the same today and He was yesterday so He will get me through this. I just choose joy. We all know as believers that once this trial ends, another will come along so there is never relief for long therefore we all must study and learn God's word on how to embrace every season we are in.  The Lord provides for those that are in their time of famine. He promises the righteous will not go hungry nor would they fall so claim that and meditate on that.  If you are waiting upon Him for something and the deadline is approaching, know that He tells us His timing is always perfect therefore He will do what needs to be done in your life on time. They are promises He left for you and for me because He knew these times would come.  He does not want us to worry or act on our emotions...He simply wants us to be still in knowing that He is God and to trust Him no matter what. FAITH is believing in what we do not see.  I know that my God not only can but will and that is how I remain strong in my faith.  So if you are feeling left out, just trust Him today.  And rest in His promise for your life. I am, won't you?

James Chapter 1 is a wonderful lesson on waiting upon the Lord, the purpose of trials and how we grow patience and wisdom in Him.

The devil wants us hopeless and helpless. He wants us to be led by our feelings instead of being led by the Spirit of the Lord. He comes to destroy, discourage, depress, dissuade and divide. Think of words that begin with a "d" and that is usually his motive. We all have the same evil arrows coming at us therefore we must pray everyday "that no weapon formed against us shall prosper". The life we are living may not be easy but don't give up for the battle is His. And then press through and just continue to do right. I remember my last day of work I was driving home and about a mile from home the Lord spoke so clearly to me and said, "vengeance is mine". He did not want me to react or act upon my emotions at that very vulnerable time. Instead he wanted me to know He had it under control and that He would take care of what needed to be taken care of. Don't involve yourself in the battle. Don't entertain the thinking "eye for an eye". The devil will use the closest people to you to come at you so prepare yourself for this and pray yourself through so you don't allow your emotions or feelings to get you to do something you will regret later. Stay in His will and remain still in His presence. Whatever it is you are facing today, He has got it and He wants you to let go. Whether we are in the peak of our life or the deepest of valleys, the Lord wants us to be led by Him and give all to Him. What can you do today? Embrace the gift of the day. Be grateful for all you do have and don't look at what you don't have. Don't allow your circumstances to dictate you but instead praise the Lord for His riches and glory. Glorify the Lord, praise His holy name and remain in His peace. When you do this, you will disarm your enemies and you will see yourself to victory. Amen?Amen!

John 14:27

Tuesday, June 12, 2012

We must choose to have powerful thoughts over pitiful ones.  The bible tells us to guard our hearts and minds therefore we must make a conscious effort to watch what we say and what we think.  Just because no one can hear you does not mean we have the right to think whatever we want and allow our minds to become garbage cans.  In actuality the Lord is very interested in our thoughts so we must be mindful.  The enemy will place many thoughts into your head and make you think they are yours. Anxiety, fear, doubt, resentment, envy, jealousy, worry. Did you know that? So be aware of what you are thinking just as much as what you are saying. The saying goes "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it"...well take it one step further and remind yourself "if you don't have anything nice to think, then don't think it at all".  Lustful thoughts are extremely dangerous and the Lord looks upon that as committing adultery yet to you or me we would think it would be "harmless" to just "think about it". Hateful thoughts are the same as murderous thoughts so it is not to be taken lightly. The good news is we can overcome anything with the help of Christ Jesus for He overcame the world and has come to dwell in us to help us in all things, in all ways.  So if you have been struggling with some dangerous and reckless thoughts, make this the day you recommit your mind.  It will take time but there is nothing we can not do. So do it for yourself today for it will develop your mind and take it to a whole new level of being. And you will be at rest and at peace with your "whole self", both inner and outer and that is what the Lord wants for all of us...to be free of all bondage so be blessed in Him today and may you receive all that He has planned for you.

Certain dates can definitely make your mind wonder back to another time can't it?  I think back to this date  over 20 years ago and where I was and what I was doing and it saddens me.  First and foremost I was not walking with the Lord and my life was not in a good place.  I can then be put in to another state of mind instantly when I think of that time because it also reminds me of the gift of grace that the Lord has given me.  Grace to forgive my sinful past and grace that washed the stains of my sin clean.  He is a wonderful and faithful Father and I am here to bear witness that He saved my life.  When I share my past with people they laugh almost nervously and say, "I can never see you like that" and I immediately say, "That is exactly why I tell you to show you how merciful God is to change a person like I was into the person I am today".  It is not easy for us to bear our hearts and share our troubles, especially not for a private person like myself.  Writing this daily journal for the world to read is a very bold thing for me and I do it all for the love of the Lord and for the love He has placed on my heart for the lost and confused.  God did not send His only Son to walk this earth as a man and to have Him suffer a horrific death not made for any human being so that you could live and die a life of torment, sadness and darkness.  He sent His only sinless Son to bear the shame of my sin and yours so that we could live in eternity with Him and not suffer an eternal life of damnation.  It is that simple.  I don't share my faith to be special or to appear pretentious nor do I particularly care for the rejection and rudeness of some....I do it all for you so that you can know God the way I do and so that you can live a life here on earth filled with hope, peace and joy.  Sure life will still have their bumps but we don't have to go through them alone.  I used to get sad when I thought of how people would get to share Father's Day with their earthly Fathers while my husband's and my Father were gone but I now can rejoice on Father's Day for our Dads are with Jesus alive in Heaven AND we have a Father here with us that will never leave us nor forsake us so we are doubly blessed and overwhelmed with gratitude.  I encourage you to ask the Lord to come into your life and have Him be your Lord and Savior for He never planned for you to have to go it alone.  He has a purpose for your life and it is filled with value and He wants you to experience all of His plans for your life so won't you let Him?  I promise you, He will not disappoint.

Admit you are a sinner.  Believe in Jesus as God's Son who came to earth to die for your sins.  Confess Him as your Lord and Savior and commit your life to Him. Do it today for none of us are guaranteed tomorrow.

Be thankful.  Be grateful.  But most of all be hopeful.  Our faith starts out as hope.  Never let anyone tell you that you are a dreamer or as someone put to me, "come back to reality"....why? Because I believe in the Lord and what He promises He will do?  Because I have hope in our living God and that I know He will work everything out in my life according to His will and purpose for my life?  What is the point in studying and praying and reading and attending church if not to apply it in my daily walk of life?  I do not choose to sit in a church for an hour once a week and then not live by the standards to which I was taught. My faith is a direct result of getting to know my Lord and having a personal relationship with Him.  My relationship with the Lord began in 1993 and has grown stronger and healthier with each lesson of life.  My trust in Him is the product of all He has already done in my life.  When I get nervous or anxious about anything I simply reflect on all the miraculous things He has already done and I know I know I know He is the same living God then as He is now so I know He will do great and mighty things again.  If God is for  me, who can be against me?  Romans 8:31 I have blessed assurance in knowing that all the angels are on my side and most of all I know that I not only believe in Jesus but Jesus believes in me.

The battle is the Lord's and there is victory in Christ Jesus.  And he knows what is best for us. So many times people are disappointed by unanswered prayers yet they fail to see that an "unanswered prayer" is in actuality an "answered" prayer just in a different form.  The Lord's will must be first priority over our own.  He has full authority therefore His way is perfect and we are to count all things joy.  So all answers from God are best for us and He hears every word we speak.  How many times have you been upset with God for not answering a prayer and then it comes out later it was for the best?  I look at Guiliana Rancic who tried for years to conceive a child and would cry out to God, "what have I done?" yet in reality the Lord was saving her life for it was revealed later she had breast cancer and had she become pregnant, it could have exhilarated her cancer growth and she now declares that not getting pregnant saved her life.  That was God's divine intervention for her life and He allowed His will to be done over her prayer request for He knew her life would have been at risk.  That is how it is time and time again for so many of His children.  I used to desperately want a child and I am grateful in so many ways now that I never did.  And yet I too was so upset for years about why I never became a Mom.  The Lord tells us we are victors, not victims therefore we are to accept His will for our lives for it will always be what is best for us.  The bible tells us in 2 Chronicles Chapter 20:15,"...and he said, "Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: thus says the LORD to you, "Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's."

I dedicate this blog entry to my wonderful hubby of 7 years for he has been my best friend, my prayer warrior and truly a wonderful and faithful man of God. And today we celebrate our wedding anniversary. May we be blessed with another 7 years.

"As you walk through the valley of the unknown,

you will find the footprints of Jesus both in front of you and beside you. "

"For the Lord Himself is the Rock eternal". Isaiah 26:3-4 The Lord's love for you will never die nor waiver. We may separate ourselves from Him because of our lifestyle choices or because of our sinful ways but He never leaves us nor stops loving us. I am saddened by Christians that think their salvation can be taken away from them because of their sins yet the bible tells me we are washed by His blood and made pure as the driven snow. It doesn't say until the next time we sin. Therefore there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. The enemy is lying to you if you fear your salvation. Once you have asked the Lord into your heart and have confessed Him as your Lord and Savior and pronounced Jesus as alive, you are saved and the word "saved" means you are saved from eternal damnation or a "life in hell". The Lord becomes your Rock eternal which means forever. He will forever love you, He is forever faithful and you can stand on Him always. He is someone that will always be there for you. The scripture tells us when we keep our minds steadfast on the Lord, He will keep us in perfect peace. Trust in Him and invest the time in your relationship with Him. And always remember ... "that anyone that puts their trust in the Lord will never be put to shame". Romans 10:11

There is power in the blood.  Wondrous working power.  Trust in Him for all of your cares.  He wants to be in your life.  He wants to be involved in all aspects, not just the areas you choose to share with Him.  We must be fully submissive in obedience to receive all of God's goodness and grace.  He is not a part time relationship.  The foundation of our relationship with the Lord is to give Him 100% of ourselves and to know in our hearts that His involvement will bring us joy, freedom and new life.  He is not an ATM machine nor a magic genie that grants us our wishes all day long.  Nor should He be used as a solution to a problem that once it is solved, He is put back into a box until "next time".   We are so truly honored to have a Lord and Savior that desires us and knew us before we were ever born.  He knows every hair on your head and heard your cries before you ever shed them.  That is the power of the blood of the Lamb.  His blood that was shed for you and I.  A sinless man that took on the sins of the world so we would have life everlasting.  If you have never asked the Lord into your heart nor asked Him to be Lord of your life, do it today, for none of us are guaranteed tomorrow.  For should you perish tonight and stand before the Lord on our judgement day, you need to ask yourself if He would find you innocent or guilty for the life you led on your own without Him.  It is both a life saving and a life changing decision. I pray that you find the courage and the wisdom to let go and let God.

How often do you share your faith with another?  Have you ever shared the gospel with a non believer?  The hardest people to talk to about it are those closest to you yet we need to.  Our parents, children, sisters, brothers, spouses, aunts, etc..... we are here to share the message for God that Jesus died so that we could live.  We are called to be fishermen for men so that no one shall perish but have everlasting life.  My prayer is that no one we know shall ever die without knowing that either I or someone I know has shared the Lord with them.  I rather someone choose to distance themselves from me if they think I offended them or if I now am deemed a "holy roller" or better yet a "Jesus freak".  The double standard of bigotry still lives in that it is okay to make fun of me yet I am told I must politically accept your lifestyle choice. The bible is true and I live by the bible and I am told that we are all called to spread the Word. Do right today and leave the consequences to God.  Be bold in faith and you shall be honored.

When God is silent, He is still working.   Never think He has forgotten you or is ignoring you.  The bible tells us He knows every hair on our head so that in times of a "still" season, we know He is still in control and He will do exceedingly and abundantly in our lives.  Choose to be hopeful for what is yet to come.  It is worth the wait for His timing is always perfect.  I know it to be true when the bible tells me the righteous will never fall and that the battle is His for there is power in the blood.  Therefore I live by faith not by sight and my God tells me to wait upon Him.  Be patient and be at peace and don't let each day go by dwelling on what has yet to come for you will miss the gift of today.  Have a wonderful weekend in Him and be a blessing to one another.

Luke 12:7  Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Everything happens according to God's will. Rest in knowing that. It is too often we get all tangled up in our own web of life and it is so unnecessary. If you wait upon the Lord and know that the will of God will never lead you where the grace of God cannot keep you, then you can rest assure in that. Be at peace knowing that anything God asks of us will bear good fruit, no matter how it seems. A lost job can mean a wonderful new opportunity to serve in your local church and give back. A broken relationship could be the Lord's way of allowing it to happen so He can bring to you who He intended. Sometimes we dwell on the mess rather than the message behind it. Other times we are trying to control too much instead of letting go and letting God. Simply be obedient, be a good steward, love others as He first loved you and then simply be still. It is that easy. Try it!
