There is no condemnation in Christ. When we ask the Lord to forgive us of our sins, it is done. He washes us clean and we are holy in His sight. Too many people ask the Lord over and over and over to forgive of the same sin because they cannot forgive themselves. Self guilt is a mindset all of our own, nothing Godly based therefore we are to mentally set our minds to rebuke any self guilt. If the Lord can forgive us, so can we. He knows your heart and He knows your intention so allow yourself to heal and forgive as He has. I say this because so many struggle with their own inequities and it actually is a form of disrespect. If we are taught that God forgives us of our sins upon our confession and yet we continue to struggle then we are setting our own self above Him. Maybe if you look at it from that point of view you can see that you are hurting yourself and are being controlled by the enemy's lie. He wants you to think you are not worthy and are to blame for all that is wrong but he wants you to give up and I am here to tell you as a child of God and who knows my Father....
NEVER GIVE UP! STAND ON THE WORD OF THE LORD AND HE SHALL SUSTAIN YOU. HE KNOWS YOUR HURTS AND HE KNOWS YOUR STRUGGLES. HE WANTS YOU TO RELEASE THEM TODAY AND LAY DOWN THE BURDEN OF ALL SINS ON TO HIS FEET AND WALK AWAY.
As Jesus said to the woman, "go now and leave your life of sin". It was true then and it is true today!
