We will reap what we sow and our life will bear much fruit...or not. To everything we do, there will be a consequence. I shutter at the thought of how I used to be with no regard of my actions. But that is why God came into my life to bless me with His free gift of grace that abounds all understanding. We are all work in progress but the true heart of a Christian is to love unselfishly. The bible says when we become born again we are a new creature in Christ and we are now able to live a life of giving generously. Whether it be our time, finances or a lending shoulder. The seeds we sow in others will result in a great harvest in our own lives. Did you know that our thoughts manipulate our emotions that eventually control our actions? Because of this truth, we should always ask the Lord to examine our hearts and He will reveal the truth behind our thoughts, words and actions. So today seek His counsel and change what can be changed so that all you do brings glory and honor to our Lord God Almighty.
Lord, Allow my attitude to reflect your goodness so my responses bring your glory. May my motives be pure in heart as you guide my intentions to be just and right. And it is in Your name I pray. Amen.
