Ephesians 4:31-32 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you

Let's be there for one another. Forgive one another for we all have done wrong and have been wronged. ( “Forgiving and being forgiven are two names for the same thing. The important thing is that a discord has been resolved.”  ~ C.S. Lewis ) Life is stressful, people say things or do things that they don't really mean and we should have patience and compassion for one another. You know Jesus went through it all while He lived on earth and He never wavered yet He was tempted, betrayed and lied to. When someone comes to you and tells you they are sorry, forgive. Period. Now obviously if there is a continuous problem with someone we should use discernment in whether or not this person is good for our walk. But when a person does or says something to you that may have hurt your feelings or angered you, accept their apology and forgive. Holding grudges, staying angry and hurt, being the victim and refusing to let go does nothing for your heart, soul or mind. In fact it is poison. Live as God lives, show His love through you. I had a trying day the other day where a woman yelled at me to slow down in a parking lot to which my response was, " I am sorry I did not see you, forgive me." She chose to growl at me and that was on her. Another person gave me a look that could kill simply because I tapped her on the shoulder to let her know she was next in line. You would have thought I called her the worst name in the book. I did not react at all. Later my husband and I discussed how it easy to respond and lash back yet much harder to stay calm and in the spirit. But we must react in grace and love, otherwise we bear terrible testimony. I used to have a wicked tongue and temper where I held nothing back. And I was proud of it. But now....I am proud when I please my Lord and when I show love instead hate. I no longer harbor resentment in my heart nor do I hold on to things. Over time it became much easier for me and now I know it saved me. I am healed and whole. So I understand the pain and frustration you are feeling. But the Lord wants you to know He will deal with your enemies and adversaries. Just walk in His truth and do right and leave the consequences to Him. And have a wonderful, peaceful day and leave the rest to God.

Matthew 6:14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

“Man has two great spiritual needs. One is for forgiveness. The other is for goodness.”  ~ Billy Graham
