Ephesians 4:26-27

26 “In your anger do not sin”[a]: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,27 and do not give the devil a foothold."

How often do you go to sleep angry at someone? God instructs us not to therefore we all should learn from that. Our own ways many times are led by emotions and feelings and too often when we allow ourselves to be controlled by them, we end up in regret. And regret is often times a result of first being angry. So pray for the Lord to soften you when you are upset at someone/something. We all can learn from the Lord for His words are true and meant for us to live by. I am ashamed to admit when I get angry I get mad and say and think things. And then find myself repenting to God for forgiveness for I did not mean what I said. Being angry opens up the door for the enemy to get in and he lives to destroy our homes, lives and relationships. We must combat his evil ways with goodness. Say you are sorry to someone you hurt. Forgive those that trespassed against you. And live in peace and harmony at all costs. Guard your heart and mind against his evil doings and don't give him an inch in your life. If you are reading these words and you are holding a grudge against someone, make this the day you let it go. Forgive and move forward. Live to please God, not man, not yourself and your life will grow in His image and not your own.
