"...Forgive, and you will be forgiven." Luke 6:37
To not forgive someone is not a choice in the life of a believer. We must forgive in our hearts as He first forgave us. We can not control the other person. If they choose to either not accept your forgiveness or if they choose to hold a grudge, you must pray for them and let them go. We must not react for we are responsible for the posture of our heart, not the hearts of others. If there is someone you have yet to forgive, do it today. For we must love unconditionally and we are to accept another's forgiveness without conditions. It will free you and bless you. And if there is someone who is not willing to let something go, then you must pray for them, surrender them to the Lord and usher them out of your life with grace. God is love therefore let us glorify Him in all we say and do.
Matthew 18:21-27 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. "Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand talents was brought to him. Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt. "The servant fell on his knees before him. 'Be patient with me,' he begged, 'and I will pay back everything.' The servant's master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go."
