Thursday, January 31, 2013 Victory in Jesus!

How do I live in victory each day? The joy of the Lord is my strength.(Nehemiah  8:10) His love for me is what I concentrate on and He gets me through my day.  When I feel lonely, regretful, "blue", I simply turn to the cross and He reminds me that He died for me so that I would live in victory. He did not sacrifice His life for me so that I would sit on a couch and pity myself. He did not die so others would suffer in their own mental anguish of depression or anger.  His children have been saved by His grace for us, His unmerited favor, and we are to live in joy and victory because of it. My husband taught me that even on those tough days when we are experiencing an attack from the enemy, to pray through it, for it can only last for so long for the Lord only gives the enemy a limited amount of time. Rejoice in the Lord for we know each day brings His tender new mercies and this episode "too shall pass". Our response will determine how quickly we pass through, so we must get on our knees and pray; we must get our head in the Word and study God's promises and we must seek His face.  I promise you, your life will begin to transform into a more peaceful and joyful state if you acknowledge how much God loves you. There is nothing you can do to make Him love you more, and there is nothing you can do to make Him love you less. This truth will have you walking in victory everyday.  Shout to the Lord!!  Praise and worship the King!!  He is your everlasting strength and He loves you and He loves me. And that is all we shall ever need. Enjoy your life each and every day and live it in love and grace and declare this year to be yours in favor and abundance.

Isaiah 61: 1-3

The Year of the Lord’s Favor

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,

because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]

to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,

and provide for those who grieve in Zion—

to bestow on them a crown of beauty
    instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
    instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
    a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.

Matthew 25:46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.

For believers, life here on earth is as bad it gets; for those who refuse Jesus as their Savior, life here on earth is as good as it gets.  We are called as Christ's children to go out into the world and be the salt and the light for those that are in the dark. For salt "flavors" the world and the light shines in the dark.  We are to be fishers of men, which means we are not exempt of preaching the gospel to the world, we are all commanded to share Jesus with those we meet. For we may be the only person they ever come in to contact with that shares the gospel with them. We are to plant the seeds in the entire field and move on. Pray for those you spoke with and trust and believe in the power of His Word to know that no word returns void. For those planted seeds will one day harvest. You are no longer responsible for that person for they now have been told the truth and they are accountable. The blood of the lost is no longer on our hands.  But how many believers really get out there and share the good news? The stats say 2% of the church actually do. Fear of rejection, fear of lack of knowledge, ignorance, selfishness, etc...could be all sorts of reasons but none of them are justified in God's eyes. But He knew this for He said, "many are called, few are chosen." Not that He has chosen few, there are few men that chose to obey his call.  He asks all of us to be the light in a very dark hopeless world. My husband founded a ministry, Proclaim the Kingdom of God (check out our website on proclaimthekingdom.webs.com) for evangelism. They meet weekly and go out in teams of 2-3 to various local places (such as colleges, laundromats, parks) and approach strangers to take a spiritual survey which leads to a discussion of Jesus and who He is.  Isn't that amazing? Well about 6 people actually come faithfully and do it. I am even too shy but the Lord laid on my heart that this blog is a form of evangelizing and when I am out and about I am not afraid to give God glory through action and words. He wants us all to fish for souls for no one is guaranteed tomorrow and if someone should die without Jesus in their hearts, they are bound for hell. Acts 4:12"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Salvation is a delicate subject and the world tells us it should be separate from this or that. Well we are not here to please the world, but to please our Father in heaven who sent His only Son to die for us so that we could live eternally with Him. My sin debt has been paid in full. My country cannot even pay their own debts, let alone save us. I pray for this country for it is so off track and they will be held accountable for all they did to hinder the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Do not believe man can save you."For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6)

Tuesday, January 29, 2013 God is our Refuge

Romans 10:17 So then, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

How do you handle life's disappointments? Do you cuddle up in  a corner and cry? Do you throw punches into your wall? Or do you try to find the purpose in them? The bible tells us that each day has been made by the Lord and we should rejoice and be glad in them (Psalm 118:24) so I try to take each day as a new blessing from Him. And that is why the scripture tells us that His mercies are new everyday.(Lamentations 3:23) The Lord knew our lives would not be easy.  Life is hard and it comes with a lot of challenges and heartaches but it is how we react and respond that makes the difference. I heard that the way we respond determines how quickly God will take us from the pit to the palace. So I try to look to Him instead of react in my own flesh. Not always easy but I truly do have such strong faith in the Lord that I know, I know, I know He has got "this". And by "this", I mean "all of me; my life". He has my life in His hands and it is His will playing out so if this disappointment is part of the plan, then what choice do you or I have? You can't take all of God's glory and blessings and favor and not want the tests and trials, doesn't work that way. A marriage vow tells us "in sickness and in health, richer or for poorer" because it was designed to instruct us that no matter what, we are to stay and keep the faith and accept all things for life will bring its bumps in the road. The key to the Christian life is that we are either in a storm, stepping out of a storm or about to step in a storm . God's goal for us is for us to be like His Son Jesus and He uses the storms to make us stronger in faith so eventually we will overcome sin and death like Jesus did.  So we need to put on our armor of God and be bold in our faith and having done all we can do, stand. (Ephesians 6:13) The enemy wants us to feel defeated, depressed, discouraged...he wants us to think the Lord has denied us but we know better so praise and worship the King and stand on His promises for He is our Rock Eternal. Amen!

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Nahum 1:7 Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble: He knows those who take refuge in Him.
Hebrews 11:6 Without faith, it is impossible to please God. For he who comes to God must believe He exists, and rewards those who diligently seek Him.

Monday, January 28, 2013

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2

It is easier to conform to the ways of the world than it is to stand up for Christ in this world.  Do you agree with this statement and if so, why? I have witnessed time and time again a person in church praising and worshiping for the congregation to see and then as soon as they leave, they cut you off in the parking lot or refuse to let you out. Huh? We just left God's house of worship.  The truth is it happens everywhere. Do you profess Jesus as your Lord and Savior at work or is it unknown? Do you shy away from conversations of "religion" for fear of rejection or hostility? Do you manage your money where the Lord comes first in the way of your tithes and offerings or does He come last after all the essential bills are paid? People consume more and more these days in the way of stuff that they rely on it as much as they rely on air. They begin to believe they need the latest phone and/or gadget rather than keep what they have, save the difference in cash and donate that to the less fortunate. But we get caught up in the commercialism which is technology and automobiles and bigger houses and we forget the One who supplied it all.  God is first and foremost.  He is the center of it all.  So then why is He the first we defy and deny when the world lays some pressure on us?  Because we care more about fitting in at the job because if we lose our job, we risk losing our stuff.  When I left my job almost three years ago, some applauded me while others mocked me and called me "irresponsible, irrational, emotional, crazy"...why? Because I realized I was denying my Father in heaven who bestowed me with all my blessings and decided to lay down the stuff and follow Christ instead? Did it cost us? Of course it did but what did we give up? A luxury car, expensive steak dinners thrice a week, shopping excursions so I can obtain more stuff?  Does that sound like life or death? Did I give up my air supply? No, I gave up everything that caused me to conform to this world and not stand up for God. I stopped going to church because of my work schedule, I stopped acting and walking in God's promise and began to grumble and complain and I lost my peace of hope. I was not happy because I was no longer walking in His will. My little light faded out and no longer shined because I became part of the world. The bold girl that was on fire for God was another number.  But the Lord loved me too much to leave me like that and He called me and I answered His call. So praise God in the highest I am living in His perfect will and for the first time in my entire adult life, I know I am exactly where He wants me to be. He is using me in a mighty way and I cannot wait to see where He takes me next. The bible tells us 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. John 15:19.  We must remember although we live in this world, we are not of it.  We must stand up for Christ and all that is righteous, no matter what the cost. Today and tomorrow and the next day and the next day until He calls us home. Amen?Amen!

Sunday, January 27, 2013 I Am Sorry

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

The three hardest words some people have saying are "I am sorry."  The truth is we are to take accountability for our actions. We should not wait for the other person to say it first. Once we say it, we then need to let God be the enforcer.  No need to say anymore for we now know the Lord will handle it.  "Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:16 The Lord expects and commands us to forgive others as He has forgiven us. When we take responsibility for our actions and immediately repent to one another, it diffuses strife. For strife, tension and anger are spirits of the enemy.  Our homes should be filled with the Holy Spirit of peace, joy and love.  I am a softie for anyone that says they are sorry, when it is sincere. Understand, true repentance comes with a sincere heartfelt apology and when I know the person truly is sorry, all is forgiven with me. I forget all about it and move on. Isn't that what we all would want in return? The hardest thing for me to accept is when someone else refuses my apology or they accept it but then still "hold it" against me.  A dear friend of mine shared with me that she used to have a hard heart like that. She would get angry with someone then never speak to them again and realized over time that if she continued on this path, she would end up alone.  And she had to learn to forgive.  What a valuable lesson for her.  God gave her the grace to change.  And that is what he wants for you and me.  Listen, when we hold something against another and harbor unforgiveness in our hearts, we are hurting ourselves. How can we expect God to forgive us when we fail to forgive another?  Life is too short for unforgiveness. Think of all the relationships that you have in your life that survived storms.  Weren't they worth fighting for? Wasn't saying "I am Sorry" worth it?  Humble yourselves and be the bigger person for forgiveness comes with the cross.  Don't let the enemy tear your relationships apart. Forgive in your heart and repent to one another.  You will be so blessed you did and so free.  And most importantly, you will be so pleasing to God the Father. And  that is the greatest reward of all. Happy Sunday!!

If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:18

Saturday, January 26, 2013

James 1:2-4 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

God is with you.  He will never forsake you.  Never fear loss of anyone or anything for He is in total control.   When we can get our faith to that place of total assurance, we will learn to be anxious for nothing for we will know it is all for our good and His glory. When we are living in His perfect will, there is nothing to question, doubt or fear for all situations are ordained by Him. I remember I used to look at any meeting with the boss as a meeting with Jesus because He was who I truly worked for . I never would react because I had the blessed assurance to know that anything that was happening was of God. I remember back in the winter of 2000 I was single and had just purchased my first home, a beautiful two bedroom/two bath condo right above my sister. Within two months, I was called  into my boss' office to be told due to no fault of my own, I was being demoted to assistant director from director (a position I held for 8 years) to make room for another person who was being relieved from their position as vice president. Monies were being taken (the exact amount of my newly signed mortgage) from me; my best friend, who happened to be my assistant, was also being demoted, and another person was being fired..all this to make space for the boss's wife's best friend who failed at her own job. Because she knew her own job was in jeopardy, she began a campaign for mine. She would make comments to me like, "you make the most money under upper management".  So to say I was surprised this was happening would be a fib. So when the call actually came, summoning me to the boss' office, my entire staff stayed and waited to hear the official news. When my boss told me the details I asked him if he felt bad and he said he actually did so I responded by saying, "Good, then I am changing my days off to Sundays and Mondays because you feel so bad".  Understand I never had weekends off my entire career there.  When I came down and broke the news to my staff that I was being demoted and losing a substantial amount of income, they felt so bad for me. As they cried and try to console me, I was at peace and replied, "Guys, I love you and appreciate your concern but I spent my whole life at this place, trying to further my career and I placed it before myself. I can now go to church and not have to leave early to race here and I know that this is the year I am going to fall in love and my life will have new priorities. God is re shifting my life because I would never do this for myself." They all smiled but inside pitied my denial. Why was I so sure of it all and so at peace?  Because I knew that the Lord ordained these steps and He wanted to give me something bigger in my life than a job could ever give me. I knew my tithes were going to be honored therefore I had no fear. I looked at this far deeper than a demotion or lost income. And it ended up being  the happiest year of my life, both professionally and personally . My mortgage was never late, I reclaimed my job and my monies within eight months due to her failure to improve the department. My best friend was moved back up and the innocent person who lost her job was rehired. And the best news of all to this testimony was.....I did in fact fall in love with my future husband that same year in October, just like I declared that night. We went out on our first date on October 23rd and have never been apart since. So see how we need to respond to this world and everything in it? By believing that everything is controlled by God. When you live a life of obedience and you know you are in God's will for your life, than you know He is making every move. I learned this by studying God's Word as I prepared for life's storms. So I don't know what you are going through but just have the faith like I did that night to know that our God is greater and our God is stronger than anything you are facing.  And just know without a doubt in your heart that He is with you every step of the way. Have a blessed day in His promises.

Friday, January 25, 2013 Keep Your Eyes on God!

It is really hard to stay strong and focused when we are amidst a trial or a test.  I know of so many loved ones and friends that have troubles at work and it is hard to watch them worry and be stressed.  They fear loss...what am I going to do if I lose my job? How can I feed my family, pay the mortgage? What if they demote me and reduce my take home pay? I will lose my health insurance? What if my hours are cut in half? How am I going to pay my bills?  All valid and very serious concerns. But we have to look through the eyes of the supernatural and the spiritual realm, not through the natural.  We have to know that it is not what it seems.  You are a child of God and you are set apart.  You have to set your mind to know that you work for God, not man and He is controlling every move that is occurring.  Sometimes the Lord allows these bumps to test you, check on your pride, other times He wants to use you for something greater.  When we can set our minds on Him and not the "boss", we can accept what is happening with faith and grace.  Don't let life's distractions stop you from doing God's work. You are not defined by your job, you are defined by who you are in Christ.  It helps to keep your focus on your Provider.  Nothing happens that He does not allow so if this is happening, praise Him and rejoice in Him and pray yourself "through it". There is no other way through a storm but to go through it, you cannot go under it and you cannot dodge it.  It is how we respond to this. Do you know that the Lord may be allowing this to happen to see how you respond at work? He may be using this for His glory by your testimony.  Do not panic! Do no fear! Keep your eyes on Christ and He will show you the way.

Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord! Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways! You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently. Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes! Psalm 119:1-8

Thursday, January 24, 2013 The Lord Heals

Jeremiah 30:17
"But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds," declares the LORD.

The Lord is going to restore you to wholeness.  Rebuke any sickness or disease out of your body and cast it into the sea for He is the God of healing. The bible tells us in

Psalm 103:3-4..

"Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion"...

He can take you from the pit to the palace; believe in Him and believe to receive His power. There is nothing we cannot take to the cross and if you are faced with a burden of illness either on yourself or a loved one, take it to the Lord and ask for a healing. We are covered by the blood of the Lamb and we can ask that it cleanse us and remove any afflictions from our bodies.  He can heal us at any moment, at any time.  You must keep the faith as you fight and never doubt His power over your life.  Surround yourself with good solid Christian brothers and sisters who can pray with you, lay hands on you and those others can even sit in proxy for you for a healing. Stay in God's Word and study all the miracles of healing he did throughout His life on earth.  "He is the same yesterday, today and forever"(Hebrews 13:8).   Draw near to Him and gain strength from Him. There is nothing impossible for Him. And just know that I pray and stand with you as you wait upon the Lord.

All it takes to see a miracle are eyes of faith. - UNKNOWN

Wednesday, January 23, 2013 The Battle is the Lord's

Do not say, "I'll pay you back for this wrong!" Wait for the LORD, and he will deliver you
Proverbs 20:22

It is so hard not to want to fight fire with fire. You know tit for tat? Give what you get mentality. But the truth is those thoughts that cross our minds, are of our flesh and it is a very common reaction to an emotion of hurt and/or anger. God forgive me when I was a teenager one of my bumper stickers used to say, "I don't get mad, I get even".  But there are grown adults that will boast that claim today. What I have learned as I grew in the Lord and my husband has taught me so much as he studies is that we need to ask the Lord "to empty me of me so that I can be filled with you." The more we become like Him, the less our flesh controls.  Having done that, we need to study God's Word for the bible tells us the battle is the Lord's, (1 Samuel 17:47) not ours and vengeance is His so we need not worry when someone hurts or betrays us because the Lord sees all.  And the truth is when we stand in His presence and He is part of our daily walk, He knows man's hearts and their true intentions and He will deal with them accordingly. The Lord is never pleased when someone hurts one of His children.  We are to love one another as God loves us. It takes a bigger person to forgive and turn their cheek than someone who retaliates. God despises it when we justify our sin.  If someone does you wrong in any way, take a breath and get on your knees. Try not to react in your flesh.  Recite to the Lord the promises He makes and state your case to Him.  Praise and worship His name and give the person to Him and He will take care of it. I remember years ago an employer owed me money and they wrote a legal fancy letter stating they were not going to release the monies to me and I was upset to say the least but I did nothing. I waited upon the Lord and less than a week later a certified package came and out came a check made out to me from my former employer, no letter of explanation, simply a check for all the monies. Now I know they did not do that on their own rather than the Lord fought my battle and convicted them to do the right thing and it was later confirmed to me that they only gave me the money for fear of "what I might do because I was doing nothing." Isn't the Lord amazing? If you are fighting the urge to retaliate or react to something or someone that has done you wrong, please meditate on the words of our Father in heaven when He tells us "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay", saith the Lord.(Romans 12:19)

Tuesday, January 22, 2013 Patience

Psalm 37:7-9
Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper—it only leads to harm. For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land.

Patience is a fruit of the spirit that only develops under trials.  I was told years ago never to pray for patience and now I can see why the person was fearful. She felt that by praying for patience, I would also be praying for a test or trial.  "Begging for trouble" for a lack of better words. But the truth is the Lord does not define patience as the ability of waiting rather than how we respond while we are waiting. Do we stand in faith? Are we believing in victory no matter what? Or do we lose patience and begin to grovel? Do we tire of waiting and jump in and interject? When we wait upon the Lord with blessed assurance, no matter how long it takes, we are acting out in faith. Faith is trusting in God and that honest trust releases pure joy into our lives. I learned that when we can find that joy and peace and rest in His promise and truly walk in faith that His will will be done in our lives in His time and His way, we then are responding correctly.  When we gain the attitude of patience, we lack for nothing in life. How great is that promise? Who on earth would ever try to do it on their own if we are being told that we will lack for nothing simply by believing in what we cannot see, trusting in His time no matter how long it takes and resting in His joy and peace as a result? I believe in God and His Word is true and I believe in the promises He has made to me.  His love has never failed me and He will never fail you.  You need to call upon Him, repent of your sins and receive Him into your heart. Once you do that, you will begin on the greatest journey of your life..a life filled with purpose and meaning and the best part? You will never walk alone for He promises to be there every step of the way. Amen!

Psalm 31:14

"But I trust in you, Lord;
I say, “You are my God.”

"For many are called, but few are chosen." Matthew 22:14

We celebrate today the life of a man who died for his beliefs. All he wanted to do was share

encouraging words and uplifting messages. Was not for one race or another but for all

mankind and he was murdered living out his dream. Can you imagine? Is your faith and

belief in Jesus strong enough to die for Him? Are you bold enough to spread the good news

even when it is not in a comfortable place? Where your message is not the most popular?

Most people won't even share their faith because it is deemed too controversial or too

private. My brother and I were speaking the other day and we were so appalled at how

prejudice people are against Christians and those that believe and share. Tim Tebow simply

was giving glory to God and acknowledging Him after an achievement and he was mocked in

the press and destroyed in the media. Why? Because he shared his faith. He may not have

won the playoffs or won a trophy but the Lord is proud. For he stepped forth and used his

public forum to glorify God and if you ask Tim Tebow, I would venture to say his testimony

mattered more than the Super Bowl ring. Never allow your message to be censored or

silenced. Be proud and bold for what the Lord has done for you. Share your testimony like

these fine men did. We may not have the crowds like Martin Luther King, Jr. did or the

stadium like Tim Tebow, but we can do it right where we are...the office, the grocery store,

the park, the hospital, the schools....we all have a testimony to share and it is as powerful as

theirs.

Sunday, January 20, 2013 The Power of God's Will

Don't ever underestimate the power of God's gift of our free will.  The Lord will never infringe on our will nor will the enemy. We have to surrender our will for God to come into our lives.  And then there are those that choose to deny Christ therefore they have given their will to satan.  That free will comes with bondage, addictions, afflictions, disease, and slavery of all things.  Did you know that idol worship is the number one sin?  You know this to be true because it is one of first commandments that the Lord asked us to obey.  For those that choose to say yes to Christ, you come into an agreement to surrender your will to the Lord and allow His will to be done in your life.  And one of the most precious reminders my husband and I will always claim is "The Will of God will never take you where His grace cannot keep you."  Therefore if He calls you, He will equip you.  If He asks you to do something, He will bless you with the gift to accomplish it.  There is nothing He cannot do in your life, if you simply surrender and believe.  So for those that love to blame God when something goes wrong, I will leave you with this to ponder...you need to check your own decisions and choices of your past for it is only when we choose to exercise our free will, we then shut out our Father in Heaven's loving guidance on our life.  It is very important to be in agreement with God's Holy Spirit, who dwells in you, and His Word, in which He reveals to you.  Have a blessed and wonderful Sunday!

"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven."  Matthew 18:19

"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”  Matthew 18:20

12 "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."  Ecclesiastes 4:12

Saturday, January 19, 2013

Stop placing your limitations on a limitless God.  Nothing is impossible with God. (Luke 1:37God is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. (Eph 3:20) Jesus walked on water to His disciples. (Matthew 14:22) Our God is a God of miracles. There is nothing He can not do in our lives.  We live in fear, doubt, negative thinking and that is what keeps us pigeon holed or stuck in one place.  Faith in Christ is limitless, your life will be forever changing and growing in His image. You will never stay in one place spiritually, as you mature in Him. Your life will take on purpose and meaning and you will know you are exactly where God wants you. That is a wonderful and powerful feat and who exactly created this for us? I can tell you it is not I that formed my life that I am now living in , it is the Lord. He delivered me from all my addictions and slavery. He took away the idols that came before Him and showed me a new way of living that did not require relying on the world and its standards. I am free, now and forever I am free. Only God could do that. So yes, we have limits on what we can see, hear, do and achieve but with God on our side, there is victory not defeat. This world can love creation and all its beauty but not acknowledge the Creator. Look all around you....for that is the limitless power of God. Infinite and sovereign. Omnipotent Lord. So today, stop playing the victim by telling yourself it cannot be done. For it can be done. I witnessed it, I am a living testimony that the Lord can take one dollar and turn it into ten dollars. He can make a way when there seems to be no way. I can witness to you that our obedience in Him unlocks His supernatural power on our lives. Our blood covenant with the Lord allows us to ask anything of our Almighty Father. There is nothing He can not do. When will you stop trying to do it on your own and let go and let Him? He is calling you today. Won't you answer Him?

"The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit". Proverbs 18:21

Be careful of what comes out of your mouth. Our words are so powerful and yet so many do not even know it. Words of sin such as judgment, criticism, negativeness..the things that come out of our mouths when speaking of others. It is so spiritually dangerous to speak or think ill will of another. One of the spiritual laws is reaping what you sow. And words are harvested like actions and deeds. If you are caught up in words of death and not life, the law says they will come back to you. Never ever speak words of death against yourself, your family, friends or foes for they will come back to you. I have seen others in my life over time criticize another for various things and have seen that very thing come back to them. I call it the spiritual boomerang. If you are longing to be married and/or longing to have children and it has yet to happen but all around you are people that are, don't get angry or jealous. Do not say anything against them or harbor any ill feelings for it will cost you in the end. You will never be blessed with a companion or child if you are hoping in your heart that no one else meets anyone or gets pregnant. In fact the Lord will bless others more and and surround you with it, to test your heart on the matter. We are to be grateful to the Lord for all we have, not what we do not have. If my neighbor is financially blessed and adding a pool, fence, new cars, new additions to their home, I make sure I am genuinely happy for them for I hope to be blessed as well. I don't wish ill will on their home because that very "seed" will happen to me. Do you see it? When we judge others, God will judge us. God judges all our sins and punishes us appropriately, but not simply out of anger or vengeance. God's punishment often times is meant to correct us and restore our fellowship with Him. When you are corrected, don't resent God for it but instead renew your fellowship with God and with man and watch your words. Change your heart and renew your mind. Speak only of things that are righteous and reap life, not death. Pray for one another, do not harbor anything that is not of God. Rebuke and cast out all that binds you and change the course of your life. Words are very powerful. Watch what you say. Amen?!

"From the fruit of his lips a man enjoys good things, but the unfaithful have a craving for violence".  Proverbs 13:2

"For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." Matthew 12:37

"An evil man is trapped by his sinful talk, but a righteous man escapes trouble".
Proverbs 12:13

"Great is thy faithfulness".  Lamentations 3:23
One of the most difficult times of my life are when I am in the waiting period of a requested prayer. My Lord whispers FAITH into my ear and I know He is asking me to trust Him and not on the circumstance at hand. And I can honestly say I have learned how to be at peace during my time of waiting.  When He answers my prayer in His timing, not mine, it is always perfect and exactly what I need therefore I need not worry or get anxious. And when we fail Him and let our emotions control us, we simply are to go to Him and surrender it all to Him....full submission to the Lord. I may have shared this story with you once before but there was a time my husband and I were waiting for something and it had been quite a long struggle and a lot of emotions were at hand and we were in church and the pastor asked the congregation if there was anything burdening them and if so, go to the chapel and have someone pray for the Lord wants us to let go of the burden. Shortly before this, the Lord spoke to my heart and told me the situation was "done" and we had victory and I quickly shared the news with my husband during the service. So when the pastor invited people to the chapel, I leaned over and asked my husband if he wanted to go to the chapel with our "burden" and he said "we should." Well I have to tell you no sooner did I agree with my husband that the good Lord interrupted my thoughts and sternly say, "Did I not just say the situation was won and there was victory?" Needless to say I told my husband never mind because the Lord told me He had it and was taking care of us. I was not trusting in His voice, His promise of victory...I was wallowing in my emotion of fear.  The Lord wanted my trust at that very moment. Full trust....my FAITH in Him, no one else. And from that moment forward I found my peace and trusted Him in all of the details. And He answered our prayer in His way, in His time and guess when? Over a year and a half later. So hang in there. Keep the faith and never ever give up. Hold on to God for He is holding on to you. I know there are days it is maddening when nothing is happening and you feel like your life is in limbo, but trust me God is moving every day in your life. You just don't always see it. Just know He is faithful and His Word is true and if He tells you to trust in Him, you trust in Him for there is no greater thing you could ever do.

I believe in the wondrous working power of the blood of the Lamb. His blood that was shed for me.  The blood of Jesus that cleanses us of all our sins and makes us anew (Col. 1:14).  The blood of Jesus that redeems us (Eph 1:7)  and brings us peace and reconciliation to Him (Col 1:20).  I am grateful for the blood that sanctifies us (Heb 13:12) and heals us.  I am so beyond thankful to Him and His miraculous Hand.  He has power over me  and the Spirit breathes new life into me.  I come to the Lord today and I ask for a spiritual, mental and physical healing. There is nothing He can not do and I have entered into a Blood Covenant with my Almighty Father and I know I can come to Him and ask anything of Him for what is His, is now mine and what I have, I offer to Him. We are blood partners and by His blood and by His stripes, I am healed. (Isaiah 53:4,5) I declare this as truth and I believe to receive. So if you also need a healing touch by God, declare victory and power in the blood. For life came from the cross, not death...life for you and life for me.  Do not let the Lord's sacrifice be for nothing, but instead let it be for everything.  And may you find comfort and strength in Him today and may this be the day of your healing.  Be blessed in Him.

Proverbs 4:20-22
My child, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.

Never compromise your faith.  Riches are deceiving and temptations will come that do not align with the Word of God therefore we must say, "get behind me satan for it is written" Matthew 16:23 every time.  If you are in a friendship that does not enhance your walk, you may need to revisit that friendship.  If your employer is asking you to do something that does not go along with your Christian faith, you need to be bold and speak up. Fear not for when we do right, we are to leave the consequences to God.  He will make a way out of your dilemma if you do right and trust Him.  You are going to have to speak up and tell your employer that you do not want to lose your job but you are unable to do what he is asking you to do because of your faith.  I promise you, you will not lose your job and if you did, the Lord would honor your obedience and give you one better.  The devil wants you to live in fear, in a shadow of doubt, hypocrisy, phoniness.  God desires you to be more like Him, and the enemy lives to destroy you, your faith and your life.  When we compromise our faith in any small way, we deceive God and it is a sin.  Let me ask you some simple questions?  If you are in the presence of gossipers, do you go along or do you leave the room? Do you speak up when someone takes the Lord's name in vain or do you stay quiet for fear of ridicule?  Does everyone know you are a Christian person or do you keep your faith quiet? How about profanity in the workplace; do you tell them it is offensive to you?  The point is we must be bold for God otherwise we are rejecting the One who came to die for us.  Would your friend take a bullet for you?  How about that employer you are so willing to please; would they die for you?  Be careful of your motives and intentions. Do not let thoughts of riches glaze over your eyes and fog your vision.  We must be reminded that true promotion comes from God, it does not come from man.  And we should know in our heart that when we work for God and are on God's payroll, He is going to always take care of us. No matter where we work, we are to know we are working for God.  And no matter where we are, we are to be representing God for the greatest testimony a Christian could ever give is living a clean life with purpose.   So whatever it is you are facing, the Lord has an open door for you to escape through.  So always do right and leave the consequences to God.

I declare my faith in the infinite power of God.
Through prayer,
I am blessed with happiness, abundance,
 peace, and love.

As believers we have a redemptive new Blood Covenant with God the Father, through the Son, Jesus Christ, powered by the Holy Spirit of truth.  So what is the basic meaning behind this Blood Covenant? Simply put it means that two covenant individuals share such a close relationship with each other that all they have or possess in this life is available to each upon demand.  So many children of God miss the power of God that they can call upon in their own prayer life.  When a person accepts Christ as their Lord and Savior, there is a lot going on in the spiritual realm that we generally are unaware of when it is happening. Not even the person who is receiving all this spiritual activity knows what is happening, they just know they somehow feel “different”, “better”, “at peace”, not the same as they were moments before. Not only are they accepting Jesus as their Savior and thereby have their entire sin debt, from that moment on, wiped out but they are also cut into the New Blood Covenant between God, the Father and Jesus, His Son representing mankind. This cutting into the Blood Covenant is done by Jesus, man’s representative in the Blood Covenant and is performed in the heart. Thus all who come to Jesus, male and female, have equal access to the terms of the Blood Covenant. What He has promised you He will honor, so take Him at His word and start living a victorious life! And don’t forget the requests of your Blood Covenant partner. You are bound, by the Blood Covenant, to provide Him with anything He asks of you, even if it means your life.

What are the terms of this Blood Covenant we are now in? Remember, in a blood covenant relationship everything you have or possess is freely available to your covenant partner. Likewise everything he has or possesses is now available to you, you only need to ask and it is yours. If we treated our relationship with our Heavenly Father as a relationship within a Blood Covenant that means anything we need that He has is ours for the asking. Conversely anything He asks of us we are covenant bound to provide Him. You say He wants you to be a teacher or a writer? Then under the Blood Covenant all you can say is “Here’s your teacher or writer, Lord”. So you feel that He wants you preaching the Gospel and you get butterflies when you stand in front of two people and they are your family members? Your response, under the Blood Covenant, is the response of Samuel when he answered God’s call on his life. “Speak, for your servant is listening.” (1 Samuel 3:10, KJV).

1 Samuel 3:10

10 The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

As for God, his way is perfect:
    The Lord’s word is flawless;
he shields all who take refuge in him. Psalm 18:30

The Lord is our Rock, our Shield, our Fortress, our Salvation.  What a powerful message this morning I heard on the television. I love learning about Christ. We all should feel we can never get enough of Him and that our desire should be to have an insatiable appetite for God and His Word. When we live our life for Christ, He will honor our working faith. Our faith moves His Spirit in our lives and that is how we will be blessed. But the Lord knows all man's hearts and they must be of pure intent for if we are doing anything with a motive, He will know. I believe we should give to one another no matter who it is, not just to those that can pay back or give back in another way. We should give of ourselves in all ways and not think how it will benefit us but simply want to serve and give to others. I am praying for the Lord to show me the area of service He would desire for my husband and I. It is important we give back to our local church for all they have given us. In order for our walk with the Lord to be moving, changing, growing, harvesting, reaping...we must first plant the good seeds. It all starts with the  repenting of our sins, then living a new life in Him. We must trust God in all things and not fear anything in this life for He is the Rock Eternal. (Isaiah 26:4) We must love Him more and be willing to sacrifice anything, anyone for His name. And we must know with all our hearts that He is our Protector, our Provider and our Priest all of our days. Do you trust God truly with all your heart, soul and mind? Do you fear life or do you live in His promise of "fear not, for I am with you"? Do you rest in His hands? The Lord wants all of His children to rest in Him and know that He is watches over all of us. And that includes you
