FACT: Many people worry about their body more than their soul. The body may live for several decades, but the soul lives on forever in either heaven or hell. The soul appears 473 times in the Bible! (‘body’ only 154). You receive your soul at the moment of your conception (along with the sin nature Ps 51:5). Your soul is invisible and lives inside of your body.
No matter who you are, what you are or where you are, God is watching over you. "The LORD watches over you--the LORD is your shade at your right hand"- Psalm 121:5 He is not a pushy God for He gives us the free will to do as we please. But of course He desires us to desire Him. My husband and I truly believe He is calling all His children so that we are prepared for His return. Look at all the television ministries readily available. Years ago those channels and shows were only shown in the bible belt of America but now, they run 24 hours a day on all local cable stations. The social media has blown up through YouTube, I Tunes, the internet websites, Facebook, twitter...all the avenues God uses to spread His message. I have been blogging for almost 3 years and have had close to 10,000 views and I am amazed at the countries this reaches and this is one small person in a huge grand universe. But that is the power of God. He can do all things. But we have to choose Him and we have to choose to have a relationship with Him. He knocks on everyone's heart but it is up to us to answer. The Lord desires every soul to dwell in heaven for eternity, not to live a life of eternal damnation and torture but we make the choice. If you have never made Jesus the Lord of your life, may this be the day you choose life by choosing Christ. There is no other way to eternal bliss but through God's Son. Anyone that denies Christ, chooses death. Luke 16:22-23, "The rich man also died, and (his body) was buried; And in hell he (his soul) lift up his eyes, being in torments." When we take our last mortal breath, our bodies will die and be buried but our souls go on to live forever. Where are you going to spend eternity?
everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation (hell); but is passed from death unto life."
