Monday, March 18, 2013 "You Are More Than a Conqueror Through Christ"

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord".  Romans 8:38-39

The Lord will meet you right where you are at.  There is nothing you could do to ever separate yourself from God's love for you.  He is ever lasting, never changing.  We are the ones that choose our path. It angers me when someone  blames God for things in their life when it was a direct result of their own doing, not God's. We are the ones that change and turn away from Him; it is never He, it is you and it is me. The free will He gives us allows us to make the decisions we make.  I can only imagine how saddened He gets when He sees us stray and sin and deliberately walk outside His will.  But He does allow us.  I do not live my life in regret but if I did I would certainly regret the wasted years when I defiantly did what I wanted and walked in disobedience for my own selfish desires.  But in time, my life was so destructive and so off balance that I crawled my way back to the Lord and He lifted me up, forgave me and delivered me from all my unrighteousness.  And He can and He will do that for you too.  Do not believe the lies that the enemy would have you believe you are not worthy and you've done too much in your past to be forgiven.  Lies upon lies upon lies.  The Lord tells us to repent and our sins will be washed away as though they never were.  We hold on to our pasts while the Lord sees our future.  He created us with purpose and we all have value.  We need to truly grasp and understand the unmerited gift of grace God has granted us.  Let us bask in His mercy and know that nothing we can do can or say will have Him love us any less. We need to tell ourselves that we are a child of God and are righteous in His sight.  We are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves us. Romans 8:37 and we can all things through He that strengthens us. Phil. 4:13  Declare that in your life today and start living your full potential as God would have you do and give all glory and honor to Him. And may the Lord bless and keep you today and every day.
