12 And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Genesis 9:12-13
God Keeps His Promises! I don't care how bleak things look for you, He is with you and He is working all things out. Someone had shared with me that the Lord has so many intricate details to work out in our lives that in most times, it does take time to work it all out for His glory. We must be patient and trust in Him, always. It is very important that we continue to praise and worship Him when we are in a valley as much as we do when we are high on a peak. We all know that being a believer in Christ does not exempt us from suffering therefore the Lord tells us to expect it. However we can pray for it and prepare for it before the trials even come. The one word the Lord laid on my heart during our deepest trial was F A I T H. He spoke it to me, it was written everywhere I looked. I remember I was in line at the bank lobby and was troubled and worrying to myself and I looked up and in a person's office was on a shelf big and tall for me to see FAITH. And I knew He had it. I would lift up my husband when he couldn't see it, as he did for me. We are evenly yoked prayer partners, accountability partners, we are partners in Christ and it makes all the difference in the world to us. So if I could impress upon you one small piece of Godly advice? Get involved with a solid fellowship group of believers. For we are family, because we share the same father and it is just different from any other relationship you will have. Read His word and stay on the path and don't give up because you can trust God for His promises are kept and His word is true. T R U S T I N H I M T O D A Y!
Jeremiah 29:11 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. And remember he is the same God today that spoke those promising words all those years ago. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever". Hebrews 13:8
