"It's not enough to believe in Jesus, you have to like him. Spend time with him, talk to him, listen to him. He's alive—is he your friend?" Mark Driscoll
I love my Lord. He is my best friend. I cannot imagine how anyone could go through a day without talking with Him, consulting Him, praising Him. I tell my husband everyday how amazing the Lord is for all He has done in our lives. From our own individual walks to our marriage; He has transformed us. We are in one accord with the Lord. Every decision that has to be made is brought before God. We seek His name in everything. Every facet of our life is first given to Him. We start our days with Him, praying and listening to His voice. I give each day to Him and ask that He bring those to my path that need Him. I love to be used for His will and purpose. He has turned my once dull life into techno color vision. High definition...I can see Him so clearly. His hand is on my life. Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? Were you saved as a child? Or did you come to the Lord after a difficult time in your life? I ask before some say the "sinner's prayer" and they think that is enough and then their lives don't really change. Nothing reflects the goodness of God and it makes you wonder if they really understood it all. For I believe a truly saved soul is converted, meaning it is forever changed. Your desires change, your lifestyle certainly changes and even relationships change. You just don't act the same, you don't think the same. So when I see a life unchanged I question their salvation, not from a judgmental stance but from a sister in Christ stance. For the power of God is mighty and when you give your heart to Him, your life automatically forms in His image. And with that comes a prayer life where we are communing with Him, spending time getting to know Him. He is alive and well and wants to be in your life. He does not want to only be there when you are in need, He wants to be there everyday. My husband taped the way to ask the Lord to come into your heart and if you have never understood it, click on this link to hear him explain it. click here
And it is my prayer for those reading that know Jesus but have not made time for Him, that this be the day of change...real change and for the others who have yet to make Jesus their Lord and Savior, may this be the day you decide to change your life forever. Be blessed in Him!
John 3:16
New International Version (NIV)
