The marriage between a man and a woman is a covenant; a union. God must be in the center of this union with each person drawing themselves closer to God. Marriages are attacked everyday. When God joins two people together, He vows to let no man separate. Divorce is not of God, man allows that. We must respect the role of the husband as Priest, Provider and Protector of the home. The woman is also to be respected in love and not treated harshly. (Colossians 3:18-19). The bible tells us when a man finds a wife, he finds favor and my husband and I declare that in my home each day. (Proverbs 18:22). We must pray for one another. My husband recently learned and shared with me the importance of a husband and wife's prayer life together. That all matters of the home and heart should be prayed together-the joining of both in agreement. Prayer is so important. I love my husband with all my heart and get so sad when we argue for he is my world and I know God called him to do great and mighty things and I want to be the wife God called me to be. It comes with great pressure and responsibility and we know the enemy will strike at us even more now so we must guard and arm ourselves constantly. We must protect and seal our home as well. It is to be taken very seriously for the power of God is mighty and He wants us to go to Him with all things so we give Him our home and our union. And we ask that he protect and sanctify it. May all your homes be filled with His peace and His love. Agree with your spouse in all things and pray as a union. Seal your home and prepare for all attacks. And having done all of this, stand in faith. And enjoy the gift of love. For it the most precious gift of all.

Wednesday, April 3, 2013 " Keep God in the Center of Your Marriage"
"But at the beginning of creation God 'made them male and female.' 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." Mark 10:6-9
