This is an excellent sermon on spiritual warfare.  It is real.  And we must be armed, ready and prepared for battle.

Wednesday, October 30, 2013 "It Is Our Choice"

The benefits of having a personal relationship with the Lord is everlasting love.  His love never fails nor fades.  He is as close to us as we allow.  People blame God and say "how could a loving God allow anyone to go to hell?"  My answer: God is not the one sending you to hell, you are.  Our choices produce our consequences.  If we choose to deny Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will not enter heaven. That choice we make in life, will effect our after life. It is clear. It is concise. It is all truth.  When we accept Him as our Lord and Savior and as the One Who died on the cross to save us, we are saved from hell. Period. End of story. Direct and to the point. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the lifeJohn 14:6 And He desires you to be with Him, now and forever. Monday, October 28, 2013 "Prince of Peace"

 As the Scriptures say, "People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades. But the word of the Lord remains forever." And that word is the Good News that was preached to you. 
1 Peter 1:24-25

The Lord is faithful.  He is consistent.  He is just.  His Word is true and He will never let you down.  People will come and go from your life.  Relationships, for some people, are for a season and for others are a lifetime. But for all the people who have a personal relationship with Jesus, He will be with them always. He will never fade, He will never wither.  So meditate on all the wonderful things He has done in you and in your life.  Any broken relationship can be whole in His hands, never in our own strength. Surrender it all to Him and let go.  Do not worry, do not be anxious. Just hold your peace and stand on His promises. For He is the Prince of Peace.

Sunday, October 27, 2013 "Faith is Hearing the Word of God"

The Lord knows every need of ours.  Before we even ask.  How amazing is He?  Faith is hearing and knowing the Word of God and the closer we get to God, the more we get to know Him.  The more we know Him, the better we know His ways. Our relationship with God should be the most important relationship we have.  As we get to know Him, we gain truth, real security, oneness with Him.  We know His promises, we know He will always be with us therefore our fear lessens.  He brings true hope and faith and that assurance is the root of our pure joy and real peace. Do you see it?  If you have been missing the blessings of God because you have been trying to do it on your own, all you have done is separate yourself from the One true God.  And you may not see or know the consequences of your choices right now, but trust His Word, you will one day.  For one day we all will face the Lord to face our judgment and we will have to give an account of our life and if someone denied Him on earth, then their choice to deny Him will have a deadly consequence. Do you know what the Bible says about that moment? But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven. Matthew 10:33.  Why take that chance?  Please, don't take that chance.

Saturday, October 26, 2013 "The Lord Forgives"

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

The Lord forgives.  I was reading about Jonah and how he warned the people about God's judgment.  How he learned through his own experience that the Lord would forgive a "heathen city" like Ninevah if the people were sorry for their sins.  It takes true repentance and sincerity from the person.  And it is between God and them.  The Lord knows ones hearts and when we truly repent, He forgives.  And what happens is we become so overwhelmingly grateful for what He has done that we want to share it with others.  Evangelize, spread the Word, share the gospel...however you want to paraphrase it...He expects us to tell others the work He has done in us. He did it with the woman at the well when He instructed her to go to the town and tell the others.  Jesus is real and He worthy to be praised and exalted.  It is a command to share your faith with another, to tell others your story.  We cannot control how another person receives the message but the Bible tells us no word returns void, (Isaiah 55:11) therefore we accept that there is a time for sowing and there is a time for reaping.  So go out and tell someone what the Lord has done in your life.  Be a living testimony so that others will know the Lord through you.  You might just save a life.

Friday, October 25, 2013 " God is Light"

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5

In families there is going to be conflict.  Now throw "faith" into the equation and things can get real dicey.  In unevenly yoked families, where some believe in Jesus Christ and live their lives for Him while others are not saved, there is going to be discord.  The Christian relative must stand up for Christ for there is no compromising one's faith for another.  We must love God more.  And often times the unbeliever does not want to hear the gospel therefore they keep their distance from the Christian.  Is it conviction? Is it guilt? Is it repulsion?  I can tell you it is hard to watch someone in my life go through this with their siblings. There is this "right below the surface" animosity that they have for their Christian sibling that is palpable. The attacks, the name calling, the judging....why are Christians always being attacked for their faith? We must hold our grace in all confrontations for we represent Christ and His ways and we cannot act out in our own flesh.  But it is very testing when others lack restraint.  The truth is the Bible tells us we are the light and there is no room for darkness when it comes to God.  We must show others how to live, how to be, how to respond to adversity.  We must stand up for Christ in all situations, no matter how uncomfortable it makes us.  Family is blood, yes, and we must pray for all of our loved ones, for heaven and hell are real and we know there are only 2 choices, there is no neutral ground in the after life despite what you heard growing up. The Bible never mentions anything on the lines of "purgatory".  So pray for all your unsaved loved ones, whether it be family, spouse, friend, neighbor. For one day they will stand before the Lord and give an account for their life. For Jesus is real and He will not be mocked. Keep fighting the good fight. The Lord is worth it all.

Thursday, October 24, 2013 "All of Him"

1 John 1:6  If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.

Never compartmentalize the Lord.  He is to be included in ALL of our life, not just the parts we choose.  We cannot pick and choose what we will obey in His Word, what commandments "work" for our lifestyle, when we will seek His help. When it is laid out in those terms it almost sounds silly yet that is exactly how to describe many Christians ' walk with Jesus.  None of us can judge another, that is left up to Him, but we can see when someone is compromising their faith in some areas of their life. It is a slippery slope of disobedience but even more sad is the person is missing out on the most fulfilling relationship they will ever have.  To not want ALL of Him is depriving oneself of His mercy, grace, peace, and joy.  He will always love but He grieves when we disobey and to not surrender fully to Him is a lack of faith, which is a lack of trust in Him.  It is important to self examine our walk with Him and even ask Him to reveal to us the areas to which are lacking. I am here to tell you, He did it with me and it was an eye opener for everything began so subtly yet over time it became more severe. So save yourself from the heartache I went through and submit to His authority today. ALL the way, ALL in. It will be the most rewarding thing you ever do.

God's grace.  God's marvelous grace.  His free gift that we all can receive when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.  
(Salvation Prayer. CLICK HERE.) We must accept ALL of Jesus not some of Jesus. When we ask the Lord into our heart and lives, we must surrender all of us to Him. And we must humble ourselves in order to accept His gift of grace. Grace means "to get something that you do not deserve; unmerited favor."  Isn't our God an amazing Father?  He loved us so much He have His only Son as a sacrifice so that you and I could live. He is worthy to be praised so let our lives glorify Him in all we do and say. Amen?Amen!

Think on all things lovely.  How easy it is to allow our minds to wander to the negative.  Those thoughts spiral you down a rabbit hole that sometimes is difficult to recover from.  Those "thoughts" are used by the enemy to make you feel discouraged, denied, defeated and dead. Rebuke all that garbage and throw it away where it belongs and keep your eyes on Jesus.  For the Bible is true and His Word brings life into our minds not death. Remember this powerful verse when you start to slip and He will keep your mind sound and set heart on all His truths. Amen!  
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things." Proverbs 4:8

Sunday, October 20, 2013 "Let Jesus be Your Best Friend"

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

The Lord is the most loyal friend you will ever know.  Some are blessed to have life long friends who have been there through thick and thin and who are loyal and honest.  And then there are others who struggle with relationships and friendships.  May I encourage you if you are one who is lonely and feel as though there is no one that cares for you, there is someone who longs to be your friend.  So many hold God up to be this being that on should never be bothered with little things only catastrophic things and that is a lie. The Lord wants to be a part of your life...all of it, every second,minute,hour, every day. He is not someone who only is around on Sundays at 11 am for an hour. He is around 24 hours a day. He is our hotline, our 911.  He is who is with you, watching over you and wiping your tears.  He can fill the void you feel for you will never feel nor be alone with Him in your life. He will bring you peace and joy that "surpasses all understanding." (Proverbs 3:5) All you need to do is ask Him to forgive you of your sins, ask Him into your heart and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. When you do that you go from death to life and I promise you, your life will change.  He grants heart's desires in every way. He is not an ATM, a magic genie, Santa Claus...it is not giggles and rainbows for life is hard and He does not promise an easier way...what He promises is you will never have to experience life alone...so ask Him into your heart and you will gain the most loyal, loving, honest and truthful person into your life....He will be your Best Friend


Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Saturday, October 19, 2013 "Sowing then Reaping Your Harvest"

"Also you shall observe the Feast of the Harvest of the first fruits of your labors from what you sow in the field; also the Feast of the In gathering at the end of the year when you gather in the fruit of your labors from the field. - Exodus 23:16

There is a season for sowing and a season for reaping.  I believe we all experience frustration at times when doing the Lord's work and we don't see "results".  What I have learned over the years is there is also a time for the harvest.  We cannot expect to eat fresh vegetables out of our garden until we first prepare the ground, pull out the weeds, apply good soil, plant the seeds then water daily.  When properly tending to a garden, there will be a harvest of fresh crops.  The same applies in our work for Christ. There is preparing, weeding, applying, planting and watering. There is a time to sow and then a time to reap. So be patient with the season of sowing. When it seems as though "nothing is happening" God is doing everything. It is a beautiful time to reflect on the work and the experience of planting the seeds of faith into others whether it be through evangelizing His word or helping a new ministry get off the ground. Nothing is over night. Everything takes time. And when it is "finished", you will see the harvest and it is then time to rejoice. So keep fighting the good fight of faith and never give up. God is moving and preparing and growing in us each and every day. He is so amazing and worth the wait.

Friday, October 18, 2013 "Our Word"


No, I will not break my covenant;
    I will not take back a single word I said. Psalm 89:34


I struggle with people that do not keep their word.  They either make a promise or commit to something then change their mind later. I researched what the Bible would say on this action and it is not pleasing to God for we are to keep our promises to one another.  We should either answer yes or no and commit to our words.  Do you break plans with others often?  Do you know someone that does?  Does something always come up that interferes?  Let's be mindful of our calendars, commitments, and let us balance out what we can physically and realistically do and what we can not do.  It is not evil of you to say no to someone.  I have had to.  Better you be honest upfront then say yes to only have to disappoint later.  I watched my husband as he committed to three churches simultaneously all the while serving in various areas. He kept his promises. He took his work for the Lord very seriously.  We are extremely blessed to have a wonderful circle of servers in our small church that say what they mean and mean what they say. We praise God everyday for them for when they say they will be there, they are there.  It is refreshing and it is appreciated.  More importantly they are honoring God and giving glory to Him.  All that we do should be to honor Him.  Let us keep our promises t each other and most importantly our vows to our Almighty Father. Amen? Amen!

Thursday, October 17, 2013 "Arm Yourselves for the Battle"


 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. Ephesians 6:12

So many believers hide their heads in the sand when it comes to spiritual warfare and the demons that surround us all, studying us, watching us.  They know the buttons to push and they know exactly what will get a rise out of us. Be mindful of that. Be aware of them. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8 ) Rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ and cast out anything that you may have ushered into your home.  This battle is real and it is "on".  He comes to destroy, divide, discourage and to bring death on to God's people and he will use your own actions against you. So let us ask the Lord to reveal to us the areas He would have us work on and let us arm ourselves with the power of our living God. In Jesus' name I ask Him to protect His children with His precious blood.  Amen. 

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will

Wednesday, October 16, 2013 "Pride"

When pride comes, then comes disgrace,    but with humility comes wisdom. Proverbs 11:2

Pride will get you every time if you allow it to.  It is one of the tools the enemy loves to use against us, especially in our most vulnerable state.  More importantly God hates pride.  I will break down your stubborn pride. (Leviticus 26:19) Pride is the cause of so many emotions from sadness to anger.  It is what causes dissension with others and conflict.  "I am sorry" or "I was wrong" are not words easily spoken. Insecurity and competitiveness all stem from it and asking for help is almost impossible. It can be the cause of so much strife and pain in your life if you allow it. Our stubbornness to see it in ourselves is deadly for it can separate us from our Lord. His pride led to his downfall. He was unfaithful to the LORD his God (2 Chronicles 26:16) The bible speaks of this and warns us of this often. Your heart will become proud and you will forget the LORD your God. (Deuteronomy 8:14) Be mindful and be aware and above all else, go to the Father humbly and ask for forgiveness.  And then turn from it and sin no more. In Jesus' name I ask that our prides be removed and that our hearts only long for you and not our own needs of the flesh. Amen.

Tuesday, October 15, 2013 "Happy Birthday Dad"

Children, obey [your] parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.

Today would have been my Dad's 94th birthday.  He passed away eight years ago and I must say losing a parent is one of the most gut wrenching times of one's life. He was my first real death and it was devastating to me but somehow with my Mom still alive, she kept him alive. But when we lost my Mom last year and had to come to the realization I no longer have any living parents, you feel very isolated, very alone, almost "orphan like". There is no longer a person that calls you son or daughter, no more Mother's Day or Father's Day celebrations, no more big family holiday dinners, very very sobering.  But the good news is because of my relationship with Jesus Christ, I know that they are living still with Him. That I was blessed beyond measure to be raised by two loving parents, in a stable home. The "I Love You's" may not have been the most said words but there was a lot of love. And I am forever grateful to the Lord for blessing me with my earthly parents.  With Jesus in my life, I know now that I will never be an orphan, I will never be alone nor isolated for my Father of the Most High is with me every day, in every way my parents were. I can talk with Him, He listens, He guides me and protects me, He teaches me and He watches over me. And I know there will be that wonderful day where we will all be reunited once more. So for today, I remember my Dad and I say, "Happy Birthday Dad, give Mom a kiss for me and I can't wait to see you both again."

Monday, October 14, 2013 "Forgive One Another"

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God"
Matthew 5:9

If a brother or sister has hurt you, do not harbor anger or resentment, but instead go to him or her and resolve the matter.  It can be done with grace driven by  the power of the Holy Spirit. It does not have to be confrontational or uncomfortable. Ask the Lord to go before you and He will.  He will bring unity among you.  The devil wants division in the church and in the body of Christ and when we walk away from others in anger without trying to forgive and show mercy, then the enemy wins. We must forgive seventy times seven when someone wrongs us. (Matthew 18:22) This world gives up so easy on marriage, friendship, pregnancies, children but the bible tells us to count our blessings for they all come from our Lord above.  If your circle are believers in God and together you are serving Him, furthering the kingdom, sharing the gospel, then expect attacks to come. Adversity is his middle name. Conflict and strife are his first and last name. Don't let the enemy win but instead fight back in love. God's love. There is victory in Jesus and we are all His children. So let us remain together in love. Let us speak life not death. Do not gossip or spread untruths, but instead speak truth and life into one another. We are all one under the family of God so let us be one and let us glorify Him in all we do. What an amazing testimony it will be. Forgive one another today!

There is no safer place than the palm of His hand.  His peace is my shelter as I rest in His plan.  Through trials I gain wisdom and grace as I trust in Him to carry me through. My God is an awesome God. Without Him I am nothing. 

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Friday, October 11. 2013 "Pray with our Eyes on Him"


"We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties." - Oswald Chambers

The Lord never said we would not face life's difficulties but what He did promise was we would never have to face them alone.  When we look to Him and not the mountain we face, we are encouraged and focused. Think about being home all alone during a "storm in your life"... You end up dwelling on it, worrying yourself sick, becoming obsessed with it because your mind is not on anything else.  Now imagine a close friend is there with you, talking with you, counseling you, listening and encouraging, your mind is at rest and you can relax. That is what our times of heart ache will always be like when we have Jesus in our life. He is our refuge and our strength and He can move any mountain placed in our way. We will never see the rainbow on the horizon if we concentrate on the rain. As difficult as what you are going through, you can call upon the Lord for His peace and it shall be upon you. When I find myself unable to sleep, I will ask the Lord to grant me enormous peace and help me sleep through the night and He always does. So keep your eyes on the King and nothing else. And His joy will be your strength.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

Thursday, October 10, 2013 "Do Not Throw Pearls to Swine"

“Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." Matthew 7:6

Powerful scripture that really speaks to my heart.  I am mindful of who is in my circle and who I surround myself with. I am mindful of where my energy is spent and to whom I invest my money, time, and life on. For over two decades I worked in an environment of greed, self and deceit. There were no values, morals or self worth principles. I sowed seeds into that environment for years, I gave what was holy to dogs and threw pearls to swine for years. It was not until I truly began to change and seek Him on a deeper more meaningful level that I realized I was not where I should be anymore. The job which was once a blessing for me, (it is where I met my husband, met wonderful people and life long friends, and I was financially blessed tremendously, which allowed me to bless others) was no longer. But I began to change over the years, my church attendance ended, my prayer time was lessening and I was growing more enslaved to my possessions. Has that ever happened to you? The Lord will show you where it is in your life that He needs you to stop throwing pearls to swine. Ask Him to reveal the area, perhaps even areas and He will. For me, I knew what I needed to do and when He called upon me on July 5th, 2010 to lay it all down and walk away to follow Him and trust Him only, I listened and obeyed. There is not even an ounce left of that "old self", that "old life". I live my entire life for Him. He is the center of my life, marriage, home and church. It is He that I seek to glorify, not myself nor my flesh. Is He trying to get your attention in an area to which is not holy? Are you willing to listen and obey?

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. Matthew 7:1-5


It is never okay to judge another.  No justification will change the scripture.  Anything we do to another may be done to us.  We reap what we sow and sometimes we reap what others have sown, better known as generational seeds.  Let us love one another and let us not judge.  No one is perfect and it is not of God to judge another.  No one knows what God has put someone through, the trials he/she is under.  No one knows the time someone has been waiting for an answered prayer. I remember when my husband and I bought our home together, so many people judged us. They still do. They think we "have money" because we built a sizable home. What people should instead be doing is praising the Lord for building a home big enough to plant a local neighborhood church in it. For that was His plan for this house all along, never ours. It is not a trophy house, it is our home and now our church home too. And it is our haven.  We got so upset when others were jealous, envious and down right nasty but we looked to the Lord for all blessings come from Him and it was years of working hard, saving hard and being disciplined in our spending that He blessed. Do you have someone in your life that judges? Do you find yourself judging?  Let us instead, love one another and encourage one another. Let us lift each other up in spirit and in His truth. Let's speak life not death and let us glorify Him in all we say and in all we do. Judging is not of Him therefore it should not be of us. 

Tuesday, October 8, 2013 "Who is Your Planner?"

Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:20-21 

The Lord created us with value and purpose according to His plan for our life.  This is our declaration at one church I attend and the key word is "His plan" for so often people plan out their lives without even considering His will.  Are you planning out your future or are you seeking His wisdom?  Do you seek His guidance before a major purchase or is He an after thought? Do you heed to His discipline or is it discounted?  The Lord needs to be the center of all lives in order to receive His fullness of life.  His abundance of life for us.  Where we live, who we marry, where we work, if we should have children, should all be prayed about and allow His will to be done. So if you want to continue a life of ups and downs and disappoint after disappoint, keep planning. And for those that want to receive all that He has for you? Let Him plan your every move and you shall be called wise.

Monday, October 7, 2013 "When We Can't, He Can"


I waited patiently for the Lord;    he turned to me and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1

When we can't, He can.  For with God, nothing is impossible. (Luke 1:37) We live in a world where instant gratification surrounds us and it teaches us we can have whatever we want when we want it, mostly at the point of a finger. Where is the virtue of patience?  The Lord teaches us so much in our seasons of waiting that to lack patience is not good.  I have shared before that my husband and I waited upon Him for three full years for a prayer to be answered. I knew in that time He was preparing us, preparing the situation, working out all the details and during that time I told my husband we are to embrace it. For it was all part of the life lesson and the journey. We learned to trust in Him even when all hope was lost. We learned we needed to stay in His Word and His promises for the world would only tell us we were in a no win situation. So I encourage you to wait upon Him.  Iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17) so it is critical to be mindful of who is in your circle and the advice they are giving you. It needs to be aligned with His Word and at some times you may have to withdraw from others in order to keep clarity on the situation. I know it is not easy but no one ever promised a life with God would be. He never promised no pain, He promised when the pain comes, He would be there with us and for us. So trust in Him and lean not on your own, others, nor this world's idea of understanding. (Proverbs 3:5) Amen?Amen!

Sunday, October 6, 2013 "We Are Set Apart"


Proverbs 6:16-19
There are six things the Lord hates,
    seven that are detestable to him:
17 
        haughty eyes,
        a lying tongue,
        hands that shed innocent blood,
18 
        a heart that devises wicked schemes,
        feet that are quick to rush into evil,
19 
        a false witness who pours out lies
        and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.


A child of God must be an image of Him and His ways.  We are to be set apart from this world and their behaviors. There should be a distinction between a believer and a non believer and there should be no doubt who Christ lives in. We must live holy, speak holy and be holy.  There is no place for deceit, deception, or discord. If you struggle with traits that are not of Him then go to  the Father and ask to be forgiven and delivered.  Remove yourself from all sinful situations and relationships.  And live to glorify Him for that is our purpose for creation.

Thursday, October 3, 2013 "My Help Comes from Him"



I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
    where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121: 1-2

Words spoken to me by my Father. My help comes from Him. Do not turn to man or this world for validation for our worth is in Christ Jesus and He alone. So I ask that you seek His wisdom, His counsel and guidance in all you do. Pray and seek His voice and His truth. And be obedient to whatever it is He calls you to do. Be blessed in Him today.

Wednesday, October 2, 2013 " In All We Do, Do it for the Lord"

Colossians 3:23
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,

It is said that what ever we are doing, we are doing it for the Lord.  There are so many people that do not like at all what they do for a living and are pretty vocal about it.  I truly can empathize for that was me for years and I have to say this scripture probably was my biggest motivator to stay and stick it out. I knew my blessings were all from Him and the employers/salary were all vessels to which He used to bless me.  When my focus became cloudy towards the end of my career, I had the most trouble. I was miserable, negative, I was emotionally eating and being far too vocal at the workplace...all the things we are NOT to do. I took my eyes off of the Lord and what my purpose was and made it all about the world. I began to believe they controlled my "life" and not my Lord and Savior. As a matter of fact the Lord spoke through my husband and told me, "let no man enslave my child for the blessings I bestowed upon her" and if that was not clear enough, nothing would ever be. Be wise to Him and be mindful of our attitudes towards our employers. We work for Him, not man. Your boss is who God is simply using to bless you. Jobs are a blessing, an honor and a privilege for in this declining economy and job  market, we must be grateful to Him for what we do have. Be the light in your office, be the example of God to someone that may otherwise never know Him. Be the salt in the flavorless world today. And in all you do, may you bring glory and honor to Him.

Tuesday, October 1, 2013 "The Lord is Maker of Us All, Rich and Poor"


Rich and poor have this in common: The LORD is the Maker of them all. Proverbs 22:2

The Bible maintains a clear position on the poor throughout its pages, and, interestingly, it has less to do with them than it has to do with us. While many believers continue to judge others while making excuses or reasons that attempt to justify not giving to the less fortunate, there's no escaping the words of our God ; we need to help them. Rather than questioning how a loving God could allow poor individuals to continue in poverty, why don't we take it upon ourselves and help in whatever way we can? Let us communicate the same principle of love and service. The Lord laid on my heart to form a ministry within our new home planted church called Purpose Full Ingredients where we will deliver meals/bags of groceries, along with a prayer and gospel of John to those less fortunate in our local communities. We currently support various global outreach ministries so now it is time to help those in our own back yards. So let us take the focus off of ourselves and let us show God's love by giving back. We are currently collecting all food items for our "Breakfast in a Bag", "Lunch in a Bag", "Dinner in a Bag" and "Thanksgiving in a Bag". Pray for us as we begin to collect the foods needed to make this happen. For every $10 donation, you can feed a family in a bag, for every $20 you can make a difference this holiday season as we will donate all the fixins for Thanksgiving. So join us in prayer and in this mission. We thank you and may God bless you for your love and support.
