Rich and poor have this in common: The LORD is the Maker of them all. Proverbs 22:2
The Bible maintains a clear position on the poor throughout its pages, and, interestingly, it has less to do with them than it has to do with us. While many believers continue to judge others while making excuses or reasons that attempt to justify not giving to the less fortunate, there's no escaping the words of our God ; we need to help them. Rather than questioning how a loving God could allow poor individuals to continue in poverty, why don't we take it upon ourselves and help in whatever way we can? Let us communicate the same principle of love and service. The Lord laid on my heart to form a ministry within our new home planted church called Purpose Full Ingredients where we will deliver meals/bags of groceries, along with a prayer and gospel of John to those less fortunate in our local communities. We currently support various global outreach ministries so now it is time to help those in our own back yards. So let us take the focus off of ourselves and let us show God's love by giving back. We are currently collecting all food items for our "Breakfast in a Bag", "Lunch in a Bag", "Dinner in a Bag" and "Thanksgiving in a Bag". Pray for us as we begin to collect the foods needed to make this happen. For every $10 donation, you can feed a family in a bag, for every $20 you can make a difference this holiday season as we will donate all the fixins for Thanksgiving. So join us in prayer and in this mission. We thank you and may God bless you for your love and support.
