Tuesday, November 12, 2013 "He is the Most Important Relationship in Your Life"

Philippians 2:1-2
If therefore there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.

The Lord teaches us throughout our walk with Him.  The relationship we share with Him should be the most important one of all.  Above all else, including your family and children.  When you establish a healthy, prosperous, and mature relationship with Jesus, all your other relationships will be better for you will be better. He teaches us how to be better parents, better spouses, better friends, better siblings, better employees and employers.  He just makes us better.  Therefore it is vital we make the time to study His Word, read His Word and discuss His Word.  Bible studies are wonderful as are small churches and circles so an intimacy can be formed.  Connect in a "small group" so you can grow in Him while making lasting relationships with other. Iron sharpens iron so healthy and honest connections are key. And be there for one another, through the bad times and the good times. Love one another, encourage one another, pray for one another. With God in the center, everything else comes together.

If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin1 John 1:6-7
