Saturday, January 11, 2014 "His Will not Mine"

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.  Proverbs 3:5-6

We must be careful who we do business with, who we break bread with, and who we confide in.  My husband and I are making a very deliberate decision to make sure everything and everyone we associate with is "birthed by prayer" and not "man manipulated".  It is too often people will rush into a decision than be sorry later or rush into a relationship than live a lifetime of regret and of "what could have been's".  As a child of God we must allow His will to be done in our lives by being submissive to Him. And we must be patient and therefore wait upon Him. People say the Lord's timing is slow, others say He is preparing an amazing path. I have made so many mistakes in my past, both personally and in business, but in my present life, I have made the decision to allow the Lord to lead me and to obey His Word. I have witnessed His hand on my life and I cannot doubt for His mercy, love and grace is abounding. So I challenge you to take a step back, put the finger on the pause button and let the Lord jump ahead in line. Begin to pray about everything and listen for God's voice and when He speaks, may you listen and obey.
