My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me,
so far from my cries of anguish? Psalm 22:1

How many times have you cried out to God to help you?  How many times do you tell at God when your prayers are not being answered or you feel like He is ignoring you?  We all grow frustrated for it is more common than we think. Being a follower of Christ is not an easy task, if it were everyone would be doing it. A life of a Christian in this world we live in today is down right painful. We are the foreigners of the land.  But that is okay for we know this life is fleeting and we pray for those that are receiving their rewards here on earth. Pray for their souls. But it can be frustrating when you feel like you do everything you are to do and you wait with expectancy and nothing happens. I have felt like that but I know God is all sovereign. If I have trusted Him up until now and He has been faithful to me, than who am I to start questioning Him now? I just get anxious and when I take my eyes off Him, I panic and drown in my own worries. But I know I am not alone. Many have cried out to God, even Jesus cried out to His Father when He was in the garden. It is natural to feel we have been forgotten about but the Bible tells us He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6)so we must simply press on and pray ourselves through any trial we are in. We must boldly go to the throne for we know He hears our petitions. Then having done all we can possibly do, we must stand. Stand on His Word. Stand on His promises. Stand firm in our faith.
