Sunday, March 30, 2014 "God's Gift of Grace"

In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:6-9

In all things I will rejoice. I will rejoice in my trials. I will praise His holy name in the valley and in the peak. I give glory to God's grace and unmerited favor in my life. I have done nothing to deserve the pure love He bestows upon me. I am nothing without Him. For those that think they can earn their way into His good graces and into the Kingdom of glory, I say, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God"Ephesians 2:8
