You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
In this life no one is promised an easy ride, not even a child of God. I will often hear people ask "Where was God?" in times of tragedy. We have to know there will be struggles, heartaches, tears, loss, and pain. No one is exempt, no one is spared. But when we know His word is true it will allow us to rest in knowing that the Lord is greater than anyone or anything we will ever face in this world. So the next time someone asks you, "Where is God?", you respond, "Right next to you."
