We may not be able to choose who our neighbors are nor who our co-workers are. But we can choose who we break bread with, who we spend our personal time with. I believe in showing respect to everyone and never judging those that do not believe nor think like me. However I am mindful of who I allow and choose to have in my inner circle. I can tell you this, it is getting smaller every year. I do not allow toxic people in my life nor do I have non-believers in my inner circle for I believe that iron sharpens iron. I don't want to be unevenly yoked with my friends. I want to share God, my faith, my stories, my experiences, His Word. I do not want to censor or deny who I am just to have a friend. What does your own circle look like? Do you compromise your faith in order to fit in with certain people?
And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. Acts 2:44-47
