Let us love unconditionally.  Love doesn't keep score.  Love doesn't have an expiration date.  Love like God.  Love has no barriers. Love has no boundaries.

Sunday, April 17, 2016 "Jesus, My Friend"

We mustn't take what others think or say to heart. We are called to please the Lord, not man. Man bases his words on emotions and feelings and we are taught as children of God that those emotions can lie to us.  We must keep our eyes on the one true God that will guide us, love us, protect us and most of all bless us. He is the most supportive friend you will ever find. 

No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.

Saturday, April 16, 2016 "Never Withhold Encouragement"

I think it is sad when people cannot celebrate another person's success.  They seem to relate or measure things with themselves as if to keep score.  God calls us to love and be kind.  Let us encourage one another and be there.  We all need that support.   Help make someone stronger.  That is showing God's true love. 

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.  Ephesians 4:2

Friday, April 15, 2016 "A Gifted Day"

Today is tax day, to some the most dreaded day of the year. Truth is it is another day gifted to us by God. I am grateful for His love. I am thankful for my life and home. He has given me my heart's desires and I am forever indebted. I am happy. I am at peace. Today is going to be a great day.

Wednesday, April 13, 2016 "Delight Yourself in the Lord"

I watch people fill their days with work and family-errands and play and then fit God in where and when they can. They justify it by saying they have responsibilities and things to do. But the truth is we need to center our lives around God-not try to fit God into our lives. He is the Alpha and Jehovah and He is to be the first priority in your life. Everything will come together when you do it. You will find you have more than enough time, money and rest...trust Him and I challenge you to look at your schedule-your daily routine and see where God comes in. Do you pray daily? Do you attend church consistently? Do you have a prayer circle for strength and support? Do you give? It is so vital to your spirit to do these things. You will feel free and experience His joy and peace like never before. It is life changing.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Never let anyone remind you of your past. It is not up to them to track your sins. The Lord forgave you and you are pure as the driven snow in His eyes. Let go of any guilt, shame or fear. You are forgiven. You are saved by His grace. 

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

The Lord has the power to heal.  We need to trust Him and allow Him. All it takes is submitting and believing.

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise. Jeremiah 17:14

Sunday, April 10, 2016 "Our Dwelling Place Church"

What a blessing church is-for it is the body of Christ that comes together in love and faith. We fellowship together-we pray together-we worship together. 

Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. Ephesians 2:20-22

Thursday, April 7, 2016 "Do Not Fear-God is With You"

Do not fear for God is with you. Be anxious for nothing. It took me years and years to stop worrying until one day I just felt the Lord's assurance in my heart that He was in control and it was in His hands. Who can argue with that? He has my life in His hands and He keeps His promises so I know in my heart He will take care of every aspect of my life. Amen to that!

So do not fear, for I am with you;

    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you and help you;

    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Tuesday, April 5, 2016 "Power in Praying Together"

There is power in prayer, but I have been experiencing amazing supernatural power when I ask others to pray with me.  The verses are well known and we know the Lord is with us when "two or more gather in His name" (Matthew 18:20) but to experience it is amazing. Never cease in prayer. Ask those who love you and those you trust to pray with you and watch the hands of God move. 

 Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Monday, April 4, 2016 "My Mom"

Today would have been my Mom's 90th birthday. It has been three short years since the Lord called her home and not a day goes by that I don't think of her. I miss her voice, her laugh, her love..but most of all I simply miss being her daughter. Happy birthday Mom...til we see each other again, I love you with all my  heart.
