We must always be ready to defend our faith against those that hate the Lord and what He stands for. We must never be afraid for the Lord God will go before you and protect you from all evil. Good conquerors all.
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.
1 Peter 3:15
