There is a difference between being a peace maker and a people "pleaser".  Truth is we are called to live for God, not man.  

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Matthew 5:9

Monday, July 25, 2016 "Your Mind"

There is power in our thoughts. We must think positive thoughts and stay focused on good things. We mustn't allow our minds to go down a rabbit hole of doom and negativity. It does nothing for our spiritual health. Keep your eyes on God and remain in His sight and think all things of joy and peace. 

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. Philippians 4:8

Sometimes a date can put my mind back in time...although most times it is harmless, there are other times it can be painful. We must leave our past in the past and seek His face in the present and know He has our future.

The key to peace is Jesus.

Sometimes we need to free ourselves from the toxins in our life.  They come in all forms whether it be people, places or things. We must ask the Lord to help us be free from all things that are not healthy for our spiritual walk.
