Tuesday, August 18, 2015 "Adieu to Summer"

A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24

My husband and I declared this was going to be the summer of Christian and Cindy and it was in every way. You blessed us with a very intimate small circle of friends whom we love and trust. We are grateful for those that spent time with us in spite of their busy schedules. We choose to make time for one another or we don't therefore the effort was so appreciated. It did our hearts good. And we are also  thankful for all the quiet days alone with you. They were more precious than gold.  So as another wonderful summer starts to wind down, I say thank you for being so amazing to us. I thank you for every breath I take of every day. I will continue to cherish you in every season.

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
