Keep your eyes on God. It is the only way to keep yourself focused as you navigate through life's choppy waters. There are days when my faith gets me through. My husband and I try to be each other's encourager and it really helps us. The Lord will tell me to be the strong one for him and there are days when he is the rock. Be there for your loved ones. As long as there is breath, encourage one another and love one another. Pray and pray and pray for one another. Life is so hard and it really is true how we are in this world but not of it. Because it can be scary and very discouraging to look about the news and the economics of the country and our own stories of struggle. So much focus on war, debt, foreclosures, business closings, divorce, disease, separation, church divisions, family fall outs, unemployment, under employment. And you see why people are distraught and saddened for themselves and for their fellow man. I cannot get up in it for I need to remain strong for my family and my loved ones. The Lord is all I need and He is who I draw my strength from. He is my tank of faith and I can go to Him to be filled up as much and as often as I need it. He is my rock and my salvation and I choose to trust Him and not the news. I believe there will be victory for my husband and I and not what my bank account may say or my accountant. The Lord is our God and not only do I believe in Him but He believes in me. Amen!
